“Pleasant and friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

I had a great stay in the isola last November. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Ayurvedic treatments are excellent, the doctor and the staff very attentive. The food varied with many flavors. The cottages are surrounded by gardens and spacious rooms. The bathroom, half covered and half outside, although very original is not really to my taste. This is not a Resort luxurious but friendly and we feel comfortable. I would go back.

Room Tip: Cottage with garden are very large.

Dear Doctor Sudarshan

Greetings from the Isola Di Cocco

First of all we would like to express our sincere gratitude for choosing our resort for your holidays

I was on to the comments posted by you on Trip Advisor and find it really strange to have such comments as what was mentioned by you was really surprising

It had been clearly informed at the time of booking that the Gala Dinner charges on 31st is Mandatory as its the part of the Tariff

For the New Year Eve dinner we had South Indian theme Dinner and off course the programme includes maximum traditional forms of Kerala & South India

Normally for all the New Year Eves the Disco starts around 11 and will follow till 1 and the same was done by us too

Its really disappointing that you have come out with such negative comments when we had almost 200 guest attended the nrw year eve and had really good remarks We are pretty sure that each and every one enjoyed the programme and dinner very much

We are a Three star classified Resort and the size of the rooms as per the criteria is 140 Square feet. You have stayed in Room No 39 (Classic Pavilion Room) and the size of the room is more than 195 Square feet. I don’t understand what you meant by small room. We are really shocked to read that the water in the room is salty and you had skin irritation due to that. The hotel is running fully packed from December and even today its almost packed and you are the only person to make such comments & more interestingly you have never mentioned anything to the Front office or to the Guest relations when you were here .We still have guests staying with us since the end of December 2011 and enjoying the stay and accommadation very much should you need any references please let us know

The breakfast served on 1st and 2nd of January was really elaborated (I am just mentioning the dates when you stayed at our resort & had breakfast)

We have in Our breakfast every day 2 South Indian Dishes & One North Indian , Cut Fruits , 2 Juices , 2 Milk Shakes , Cereals with hot & cold milk , Baked beans , Porridge ,Ham , Sausage & Bacon , Eggs to Odder , Muffins , cakes ,Toast Butter Jam , Tea /Coffee & We have a live counter for the south Indian dishes like Dosa , Vada , Masala Dosa etc . Please let us know what you expect more for Breakfast when your package was actually on Room + Continental breakfast basis

We appreciate your time to comment about our resort and really thanking you for mentioning the same which will make us to improve more

Best Regards

Sibu Varghese

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

1.Rooms are quite small
2. The "lake facing rooms" they promised actually faces a big sized puddle
3.Food - average- omlettes had egg shells. Limited dinner options too
4.Worst part- room service. you have to call 2-3 times to get even a bottle of water. We ordered room service thrice and requested the bill to be presented with it each time. They did not comply. At the time of checkout, the manager was calling up the restaurant to find out the value of room service ordered. The F&B guys did not have it and consequently, we were standing there asked to spell out each item eaten, the restaurant guy was on the phone looking up that item's price and narrating it to the manager who then wrote it down on ur final bill...All this while we had a plane to catch!!
We left absolutely annoyed !!
It's a beautiful property and the reception staff were courteous. However, Steps must be taken to improve the quality of service

“A perfect Holiday”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

A very good property across the beach. Good rooms to stay and good food. Access to Beach is through a Hotel Boat and then Boat is available from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. This needs to be changed. Atleast early morning boat should be made available. Over all good place and would like to visit again.

Room Tip: Heritage, Suite
