This was one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had, we were All Inclusive and it was great to be able to have all food and drink available throughout the day (including ice cream between 3pm and 4pm).
The hotel was spotless, the food variety and choice was very good plus we ate al a carte at both the fish restaurant and Italian restaurant (on our wedding anniversary).
The maid service was fantastic and on most days cleverly made sculptures of our bed linen.
Swimming pools were great although we had to get up quite early to find a sun bed around the quieter pool.
Lovely sandy beach with plenty of shade just a five minute walk away down through the gardens, where you could stop off on the way for a drink or pop back for lunch later on - they cooked their own pizzas - lovely.
The animation team do a brilliant job both throughout the day and into the evening entertainment, highlights being Mama Mia and The Lion King.
Although a large hotel we didn't feel we were just making up the numbers, and on our anniversary they left us a basket of fruit in the room and a congratulations letter which we thought was a nice touch.
The only negative we had was similar to a previous review, upon checking in we found that Thomas Cook had allocated us a ground floor room after we had requested a high floor, fortunately the hotel staff changed our room to a top floor room with a sea view which was fantastic.
We had such a good time we hope to return to the Alba Resort Hotel sometime in the future.
