Staff were very friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was good. Location seemed secluded but was close to town.

A super nice hotel in a beautiful property. Although close to downtown Monteverde, you feel as if miles away since the entre lodge is amidst and surrounded by çamazing plants and trees. the breakfasts is G.R.E.A.T. The eople woirking there are very helpful and friendly. Although not luxury, I have to say that the deluxe rooms they have are super nice. We stayed in one of the standard rooms and had a great time. 3 nights, March, 2010.

Claro de Luna has beautiful gardens. They have the tiniest humming birds I've ever seen that hang around the garden area. The room /bed was compfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful and their breakfast is fabulous. I liked that it was close enough to town to walk. There was a little soda called La Amistad that had great casados at a reasonable price just at the end of the driveway and to the right. It was quiet at night. My only con would be that they don't have TV in the rooms, which would have been nice on a rainiy evening.

This hotel totally surpassed our expectations. The rooms and grounds were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. There is no TV, though that doesn't matter to us. The staff was exceptionally helpful; answering our numerous questions and booking several trips and travel arrangements--often at the last minute. The breakfast was tasty and wholesome. The location was excellent, just a block from the center of Santa Elena, yet on a quiet, rural street.
