“Great hotel, uncomfortable bed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

This is a really nice hotel. The room was spacious, clean and fresh. The food was delicious! I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and enjoyed all the meals. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They also have a nice little fitness center.

This would have been a 5 star rating if it wasn’t for the bed. The mattress was one of those uncomfortable spring mattresses, where you can feel the springs in your back. Why don’t they add a mattress topper? Or at least make it available on request.

“Lack of security”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

There is lack of security and stuff was stolen from the breakfast buffet area and the person just went out and sat in the car and zooomed off. No boundary wall to the hotel.

Breakfast and dine is excellent.
fantastic spread of veg and non veg.
Worth a visit but take care of you belonging and make sure they are on your shoulder.

“Perfect business hotel near NATO and business district”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 January 2012

Business Info:
I always stay at this hotel when in Brussels because it is conveniently located near Nato, Unisys, Orange, KPMG, IBM, BT etc. Taxi to these destinations will be in the area of 10 - 15 EUR. Taxi to the airport will cost you in the area of 20 - 25 EUR.Taxi to the EU district in Brussels will also be around 20 - 25 EUR in a taxi. The taxi should be in tarif 1 all the way. Tarif 2 is only for outside the city boarder of Brussels, which is at Nato going towards the airport, so you will see the driver change tarif on the way there.

Hotel:
Hotel is a standard courtyard, nice large rooms which are clean and well kept. Ask for a room towards the back as the front of the hotel has street noise.

Restaurant & Bar:
The restaurant uses a lot of preproduced food, it is not bad but not worldclass either. Go for the entrecote which is quite good or go to the Bar where Ashraf will take good care of you - he is a top guy and will tell you what to order. There area always a lot of people in the restaurant and bar during the week, so there is always something going on.

Customer Service:
I have always received excellent customer service at this location. Helpful and tentative to my needs. During a time where the menu card was not so interesting I asked for something different and got the answer that if would not mind waiting a few minutes longer they could do that too. A collegue with a food intolerance was also taken well care of at both breakfast and dinner.

I can recommend this place if you are in the area for business but I have to say that it is expensive but most of the hotels in the area with a good customer service are.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor towards the back. Stay away from rooms in the X11 - X15 (odd numbers) range as...

“Average Business Hotel with a Godawful Restaurant”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 January 2012

Stayed here on several occasions, most recently in December 2011. The hotel is a typical impersonal, characterless hotel frequented generally bybusiness people. Only reason I stay there is it's close to an office I regularly visit.

Rooms are fine, comfortable and clean, the hotel seems quite although early morning traffic noise can be a little intrusive.

The bar area is pleasant, efficient and offers a wide range of alcohol to alleviate the horrors of the day.

The biggest let down is the restaurant, snacks can be purchased from the bar, I didn't try this and wish I had. My god, the fine dining restaurant truly dishes up some rubbish, take my advice, go elsewhere.

I ordered a main course of lingiuni with seafood, the dish contained that much oil that it was inedible. I tried to pour off the oil into a wine glass and filled the gall half full. I summoned the waitress and asked if she could take the glass to the chef and ask why he/she would think a diner would wish to consume that much oil. This is one example of a poor meal from this restaurant, there are several others. It's a shame as the front of house staff are good but they are very much let down by the quality of food which is very poor.

“Shockingly expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

Generally I'm a fan of Marriott's but this is not one of their best, the rates were very very high (perhaps due to the nearby NATO HQ) and its in a rather drab and dull location. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but the restaurant is very disappointing and there's little else easily available.
