When I did my research, Tripadvisor listed this as a Paris BnB. It is on the Paris metro Malakoff line and the trip into town is quick and easy. At most, it's a 20 minute ride to the heart of the city.
I truly enjoyed coming back to this civic center in the evenings and visiting the grocery mart and local restaurants. Malakoff is a sweet little town and I don't think I would have enjoyed a major tourist location in Paris nearly as much as I did returning to this small town in the evenings .
Everyone has their own taste, but this clean and quiet place was good for me after several days of power tourism in Paris. There was no tv and no wi-fi (in Oct 09).
I was the only guest and Micheline was there alone, probably just wishing I'd go away so she could join her husband on vacation. But she was unfailingly gracious and always made me feel welcome. She coached me on my language skills every day and gave me cooking tips. My friends are still impressed when I prepare pain perdu as she taught me.
I had the ground floor room adjoining the breakfast room. The price is good. The bed is comfortable and the bath is clean.
Breakfast is fresh croissants and jams and jellies. If you need protein at breakfast, you need to look elsewhere.
