Whilst Ravesi's advertises itself as a boutique 'hotel'; it has other facilities which make it an attractive destination including a public bar with wrap-around glass windows at the street/beach level, and on the first floor, a magnificent restaurant (also open to the public), with sweeping views across the bay of Bondi and beyond to the Pacific Ocean. You do not need to be staying at the hotel as an overnight guest to gain access to the public bar or the restaurant which more or less operate as 'separate' entities to the hotel itself whilst remaining an intimate part of the entire hotel and its atmosphere which is welcoming and refreshing. The views from the balcony of the first floor restaurant match the food and the service; consistently pleasing. The cuisine style is 'modern Australian' and like most of the more up-market restaurants in Sydney, the menu offering is altered seasonally. The menu selection is relatively small as is the kitchen/prep area, so there are limitations. A great place to take visitors to Sydney; for celebrations and special occasions or just getting together with friends and family. You can even just enjoy a scrummy bottle of wine and some 'nibblies' on the verandah so there is no need to have a meal as such. You will leave Ravesi's feeling uplifted by the food, the service and the views across magnificent Bondi Beach.

Smartly renovated trendy boutique Hotel right on the beachfront of Bondi. Attitude of super cool downstairs bar patrons doesn't translate to warm and friendly no-attitude Hotel staff. Accommodating in every sense. Would recommend them.

Ocean view, impressive rooms at a good price. The hotel is above a popular Bar but the rooms are quite. Excellent for Singles or younger couples. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Right on Bondi Beach, the rooms make full use of their panoramic view of the ocean and buckets of morning sun - if there is any! This place - Being Bondi - leaves you happily exhausted at the end of the day was written in Time Out. I would rather put it that it leaves you unhappily exhausted the next morning because you stay up until 1 am from the beat of the music that comes from the huge bar (evern on second floor). If you're young, or not anymore but like to party and have lots of money to spend (AUS 330.- p/n) this is the place to be. We definitely do not cover any of these traits.
The rooms are large, well equipped but not what I consider boutique, more 3-star Novotel or Great Western. Yet, they were very understanding at reception when we left after one night rather than staying up or party for another 8 nights. We moved to the Hilton down-town which was less costly and suited us better. It rained for 5 days - imagine Bondi Beach in the rain!
