We stayed here for 9 days and it was fab. We booked a suite which was away from the main building and it was lovely and peaceful. But if you want a seaview then you need to book a room in the hotel building. The pool and grounds are huge with lots of trees to get under when it gets too hot. The food was exceptionally good. Lots of choice and an excellent antipasta buffet. I am veggie and it was brilliant for me. Loads of veggie things and always fish and meat dishes too. Nice bar area as well.
The staff were all lovely and patient with our staggered italian. The reception staff and one of the waiters speak good english.
The hotel beach is lovely but the sea shelves steeply so not so good for getting in and out and it is shale so need flip flops. There was a bar on the beach but it would have been nice to get snacks there, although there are a few exellent snack and pannini bars up the road.
The town is lovely - typical italian town. Cute shops and little bars. Not much to do at night though. Few bars and pizza places. Glad we went half board.
Would reeommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with good food and wine.
