Lovely beach, great resort. There were no Brits there, just Italians and Germans, which was actually very nice.
I’d give the food 8 out of 10 – after a week it did get a little bit ‘samey’ but still nice. I'd advise the venue to vary the cuisine a bit more, maybe get a wood fired pizza oven installed. The outside grill was very good. I do recommend going all inclusive on this resort.
The pools are very well designed and big. There's activity areas for kids and there's a lovely beach with a beach bar. We felt totally relaxed and able to switch off.
We flew to Brindisi airport by Ryanair, which was cheap, but there’s no other way to get to Ugento from there than hiring a car, so we hired a car for the week. It's nice to have a car as you can do some excursions to nearby towns like Gallipoli.
Our room was very nice and clean, the service was great. All in all a lovely holiday!
