in september we visit for first time aragon province in spain and choose rey don jaime hotel even as 3 star. what a shock after an hour driving through empty aragon area - morella is a great boutique village or better version of san marino and hotel was just perfect - a fair money value. people in morella are 100% different than people in barcelona. looking forward to visit aragon again in 2012, highly recomended

My husband and I stayed here for three nights on our honeymoon. We initially were put in a room which faced the back air conditioning unit (noisy and unattractive views). We were transferred to another room which unfortunately had a broken air conditioner (it was 36 degrees). The third move was to a more appropriate (and bigger) room. During all of these moves, the (female) receptionist was very very friendly and accomodating. We found the accommodations to be very clean, private and adequate. One caution - Morella is not for the faint of heart. The town is located on the top of a mountain so requires about 20 km of mountain driving to get there. And, once you're there, you need to be comfortable driving on extreme hills and roads around the town itself. I would recommend you stay put once you arrive!

Today i am pleased to say I am home after a week from hell in this hotel. I can safely say this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! There were 4 of us adults and 2 children in total and we paid for all inclusive for the week. The food was unbearable and under cooked, the restaurant was under staffed and I ended up clearing the plates from the previous diners on most nights. The bar staff were rude, they wouldnt even give you a tall glass of water, although you would wait half an hour to get served and drinks were included in the price. The reception was completely unhelpful (todays wake up call 20 mins late nearly missed the coach) The hotel entertainers take over the sun deck and pool, so it was impossible to swim without being jumped on or splashed which with a small baby is a nightmare! The entertainers are overly load and spend the whole day shouting, which went on into the early hours of the morning. Then when we finally got to sleep, we would get woken up by people coming in from the bars. Near the hotel is a small stretch of beach which seemed quite dirty as there is there is an outlet flowing into the water. There were bars and a few tourist shops near the hotel which are not that great, we would head further out nearer the marina as there were nicer restaurants and good views. Anyone considering this hotel I would strongly recommend to go else where!

I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. It is Clean and bright. We only had Bed and Breakfast here but the Breakfast was excellent. Buffet style with everything you could want. The staff only spoke Spanish but we had no problems being English. The parking was a long way from the Hotel but was safe and secure and we could stop outside the Hotel to unload /load the car with luggage. All in all an excellent choice of Hotel - Well done Rey Don Jaime.
