This is a hard one to rate as there were pluses and minuses. It has a great location up above Puerto de la Cruz and overlooking the valley and sea, but a car is essential plus a good companion to spot the hotel direction signs from Los Realejos.Parking is very limited unless you want to battle with the small spaces and pillars in the garage.The rooms are large and airy although we did have to change rooms as ours stunk of cigarette smoke despite no smoking in the rooms. The staff were very polite and helpful and gave us a glass of cava on arrival which was most welcome after the drive up.The buffet was cheap but really bad with dried up food and a small selection. After trying it once we went and had a really good meal down in the town at Los Realejos. We did not try the spa but it looked good. We negotiated a very good rate over the telephone at the last minute. Just four stars for its position, price and the nice rooms!
