Lovely hotel full of character and charm! Each floor was filled with interesting and unique décor. Absolutely breathtaking view of Mount Etna. In a prime location to catch the beautiful view of Toarmina on the walk down to the village. Such a friendly staff and wonderful entertainment at dinner.

I’d love to return in the summer, go for a swim in the pool and dine al fresco. La prossima volta!

We stayed at Hotel Villa Sonia in late September 2011. Beautiful views, fabulous food and the staff could not have been more friendly and accommodating. It is a holiday we will always remember for all the right reasons. The rooms were authenic and spacious, the pool was extremely clean. The bar outside boasted a varied menu to cater for all palettes. We would definately consider a return trip and would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in staying at Hotel Villa Sonia in the future.

We stayed at the hotel VILLA SONIA at the end of august and in to september, and will remember it for years to come. All of the staff where absolutly great, and could not be more helpful. The food in their resturants was second to none! The menu never the same, the chef has a great way with anything he prepares. On the friday of our stay we where invited with some of the other guests to go to the owners vinyard higher up the mountain to harvest the grapes! What a great time we had, and after we were given a 9 course meal on the verander of their mountain home with wine flowing freely, from the previous harvest! Some of the guests even trod the grapes we had harvested. Whilest we where there it was my brothers 70th birthday and at dinner that evening a birthday cake and champagne was presented to him , there was plenty to go around all the other guests at dinner that evenng!! THIS WAS GIVEN FREE OF CHARGE! All in all the four of us had one of the best holidays ever. The views from our room where stunning, Castelmola a lovley little village at the top of the mountain, toromina a fantastic town, and local bus very cheap. We would all return to this hotel again.WHAT LOVLEY PEOPLE!!!

We loved this hotel. Staff were delightful. The view of Etna from our balcony was fantastic.
Breakfast was good with lots of variety. Beautiful decor.
