We spent a week at West Bay Lodge and loved it. The cabana were clean, comfortable, with lots of privacy from the plant. We had 4 people in the upper unit and 4 in the lower unit. The balcony had table, chair and 2 hammocks - perfect place for letting dive gear dry. The lower unit had a porch with table and chair. We loved the parrots, cats, and the great breakfasts. Milo and Celeste were extremely nice.

Spent a week in West Bay Lodge. Milos and Celeste are extremely welcoming and the lodges are very nice and well looked after. Breakfast was nice and varied every day, and the on-site restaurant is excellent. The pool is so refreshing, and there is free wi-fi, kitchen facilities, and cable tv.

West Bay Beach is a mere 2-minute walk, and the arrangement with Bananarama for beach chairs and kayaks is excellent ($10 per person for the entire stay!). Add in the free pick-up and drop-off at the airport and you have a fine holiday experience.

We spent a week at West Bay Lodge beginning December 31st. The highlight of the week was the staff. They simply cannot do enough for you. Celeste and Milos set the tone and are always willing to help. From our pick-up at the airport to our return the next week, they offered every service they could. Our bungalow had two queen beds, but the one in the main room was not very private. Ten mnutes later, room dividers appeared and did the job. Out of coffee for the morning, just leave a note. Need snorkling gear for the week, beach towels or even beach umbrellas? No problem. The rooms include shampoo and conditioner so you don't have to pack it. Also. a special type of bug spray was available in the lobby area. I had my own (100 deet) so I didn't use theirs and didn't suffer even one sand flea bite many have talked about. They were also willing to help us arrange trips, give us dinner tips and anything else. We had a couple of very rainy days while we were there so we enjoyed the spa as well. Breakfasts were good, especially the banana pancakes and one night we had a lobster baleadas dinner at Celeste's as well. Some people might complain that they weren't right on the beach, but not me. It was a two minute walk and quiet. Many nights the beach was plain noisy; it was a pleasure to escape to the solitude of our bungalow. We would stay at West Bay Lodge again and look forward to our return to Roatan.

After a brutal journey to get to Roatan, my partner and I finally landed 6 hours late. We were not sure how we would get to West Bay since it was so late and we were sure the ride arranged for us by Celeste and Milos would surely have gone home. Much to our surprise, and joy, we walked outside to see a sign being held by the driver. Jason kindly drove us to West Bay Lodge and we were greeted by huge warm welcoming hugs from Celeste. This wonderful greeting was just the start of a fantastic stay at West Bay.

Celeste was so sweet upon our arrival and upgraded us to the nicest bungalow on the property. She made sure we were settled in and brought us delicious (and much needed after the hellish journey) rum punch. She introduced us to all the cats on the property and made us feel right at home instantly.

The bungalow was beautiful and had everything you could need on a vacation and more. There was a full kitchen, stocked fridge, toiletries, a safe and even two bathrobes! One of the best features was the 5 gallon jug of water. It was extremely clean and well taken care of and the perfect place to relax. Plus, the deck had two hammocks so we didn't need to fight over them!

The bungalow came with two very sweet cats, Max and Tommy. Even though I am allergic to cats, I could not help but cuddle with them and even let Max come in and sleep with us. I warn you in advance they are very cute!

The next morning we got to meet Oyuki (the property manager). Oyuki had gone out of her way to help arrange secret payment for the trip as a gift from our family. She had made sure to credit our payment back secretly and we were very surprised to find out the bill had been taken care of for us.

The breakfasts were amazing! Each day has a certain meal arranged and every one was delicious. There was always fresh coffee and juice available and so much food that we always had enough left to feed the parrots. The lunches were equally amazing. The baleadas are addicting and the pulled pork is out of this world.

Marlin is super friendly and outgoing and makes an effort to chat and make you feel at home. He works all over the property and is amazing. Troy works in the restaurant and is always smiling. He is a great server and master of the rum punch.

Celeste and Milos are two of the most gracious and wonderful hosts! They make sure you have everything you need and go out of their way to make sure you are happy and well taken care of.

We cannot say enough about West Bay Lodge and would absolutely return in a heartbeat. It was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. Thank you to Celeste, Milos and Jacob for creating such an amazing place!!!
