My lover and I just spent our last days at Las Rocas while in Roatan. The resort offered everything you need for a beach vacation.
You are steps from West Bay Beach (the best beach on the island) without be right in the mix of the larger resorts.
Its nestled to the end with plush vegetation given each cabana a nice amount of seclusion while still being right on the water.
Everyone there was very helpful and accommodating.
For the price and location its by far the best place to stay to be close enough to the bustle of the tourists on the beach without being smack in the middle and a water taxi away from West End Village.
All this and free breakfast plus a complementary ride to and from the airport.
If you are a diver... its even better.

las rocas offers everything you will need, its an amazing place to go, and the location its just perfect, you just need to walk a feew meters and you are already on the beach, it a nice place, and the staff its wonderful, and will help you with everything you need!!

Las Rocas is in one of the best locations on the island of Roatan. West Bay beach is by far the best beach on the island. Las Rocas Resort being along one side of the beach gives it a secluded atmosphere away from all the cruise ship traffic, but allows easy access to the beach and ammenities. The rooms are nice and clean, good a/c and fans. They are a really nice 3 star room. The bar and restraunt are located right on the rocky beach, which is one of the best views. The bartender, Richard is a great guy and the food is above average (dinner is a bit pricy at about $20 per person). Breakfast is included in your room stay though and very worth taking advantage of!

Few minutes walk from West Bay Beach and well worth it. Food was a liitle slow but had a great lunch. Nice people. Nice Place. Thanks
