We weren´t planning on staying at Glen´s WestBay B&B, but we ended up spending four nights there due to last minute changes to our reservation at a different location. As soon as we arrived to the B&B, Glen greeted us with his cheerful attitude and Hawaiian shirt and showed us to our cozy room. We had arrived late at night, so he even offered to check us in the following morning during breakfast after a good night´s sleep. Our room was clean, comfortable, decorated with Glen's own artwork, and equipped with a mini-fridge and satellite tv... not that you´ll be needing it in Roatan. The airconditioning worked well and our room and bathroom were cleaned daily. Glen provides beach towels at no extra charge and is willing to help arrange various activities. He helped us set-up zip lining for the following morning and recommended restaurants for New Year´s Eve. He will help you with taxi arrangements to the ferry. We even overheard him helping another couple set-up transportation from Roatan to Ceiba, San Pedro Sula, and Copán. Glen is an awesome breakfast chef! Breakfast was included during our stay and his coffee mix is delicious! The B&B is conveniently located a 2 minute walk from beautiful WestBay beach and across the street from a small convenience mall that includes a deli, coffee shop, and mini-mart. Taxis are always readily available right in front of the B&B.
We are glad that we got relocated to West Bay B&B. Glen runs a great B&B and he definitely made our stay in Roatan much more enjoyable (with a full stomach after breakfast)

Great place, great location and a great host. We were simply looking for an inexpensive yet clean place to lay our heads when not out on the beach or touring the island. Glen is a wonderful host who has travelled the world, so there are plenty of places and things to talk about! Just a short walk to beautiful West Bay Beach and beachfront restaurants. Scooter rental is right across the street. We loved our two days there! Ed & Gretchen

I visited Roatan by myself last week, the middle of September, and had a truly wonderful vacation. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and clean. Glen is a real joy to talk and work with. His breakfasts are very delicious, his knowledge about the island is extensive, and he is very personable. I loved that I could borrow a beach towel, chair, umbrella, and tube to float around on which made my beach experience that much more enjoyable. Also the DVD library was a great bonus. The Bed and Breakfast is a short and safe walk to the most beautiful beach I've ever seen. Although the beach is a bit small, it's not overly crowded everyday. There are plenty of restaurants in the area but far enough away that it's very quiet at night, perfect for great sleep. This is probably one of the best deals on the island and I will definitely return.

I've been there the past January.

I stayed 15 days and I felt like home away from home. The breakfast was very nice and everyday was different.

The room, that had a little balcony, was furnished with a table and two chairs, night tables and a chest of drawers, AirConditioner, fan, cable tv, frigobar, and dvd player, and an amazing collection of dvds that are free to use. The bed were very comfy and clean.

The place is settled near the most beatiful beach in the Island in a calm and peaceful neighbourhood the West Bay ( two blocks walking ), although is sorrounded by resorts, condos and all inclusive resorts and spas the sand beach is free! They keep an area where you can lay your towel, take a sunbath, go snorkelling and have fun staying there and taking advantage of the facilities that many of the resorts give, like happy hours of drinks, dinners, music, family entertainments , trips to other Islands, diving lessons, whenever you want and acording to your availabilities.

You have a deli shop and a mini market in front of the B&Bs just crossing the street although is better to do your shopping in West End to get better prices.

West End is also a must to visit if you feel like dancing and do you fancy a night of drinks, music and loads of people or just to stroll and get lost in craftwork shop but be sure to get a normal taxi that take you back, because after 5 pm taxiwaters stop running.
