“Brilliant two day break!”

I stayed at Fairfield Manor after getting a deal on last minute.com. We booked a suite including breakfast. The room was amazing very clean and separate lounge bathroom and bedroom. The staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. As a treat for my husbands birthday we ate in the hotel on the Saturday night, this meal was delicious and very good value at £21 for 3 course including wine. It is a little bit away from York but just ten minutes walk to the Park and Ride solved that problem. Fabulous all around and plan to go back soon.

“good location, nice hotel”

We stayed in two rooms for Friday night, a twin and a double. Both were large and well laid out with a settee and table and chairs. Internet access was cable, so not good for my phone or iPad, but there's wifi access in the bar and lounge. The lounge was large with leather sofas and a fire, and good service. A short taxi ride straight into York. Would definately stay here again

Great stay we booked for a big group of us and we all had an excellent time. Rooms great, reception and greeting very friendly and everyone couldnt do enough for us.

“Good standard hotel.”

I stayed one night on 14 Jan 2012 - as part of a business related trip. A nice hotel with friendly staff. The Junior suite was a good size with a separate study area. The hotels own 'TV Based' internet service worked remarkably well. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

“An enjoyable stay.”

A fairly short straight drive to the city centre.
Spacious rooms and good service.
Restaurant & bar looked good (although we didnt sample anything).
Value wise this place cant be beaten as we got our room relatively cheaply on a discount website.
Would stay again if we were visiting.
