“A Big Disappointment”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 May 2010

We went with Family for 3 days to Ramada El Sokhna not expecting at all that we will really regret our stay in Ramada.

Very poor service despite the fact that the number of guest was really few !!!

Regarding the buffet, there was no varieties at all, & if an item was finished, no replace until we request

The worst part within this 3 days is not having water at all (at 5PM) when guests are supposed to be back from beach & when we call the reception to fix this problem, It takes them 2 hours to have water back to our chalet & didnt even bother to offer to change it. And the same problem happen again on the second day at morning !!

Very bad experience & don't think will ever repeat it again.

“Location great, but service and maintenance poor”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2009

Ain el soukhna is an excellent location, and the Ramada has beautiful views of the adjacent mountains and sea. The room (villa) was spacious. The service and maintenance of the hotel though are problems. The playground is broken (nails sticking out and swings broken) and the room had so many issues (no towels, cockroach in the room, one TV did not work, another remote control was not working, AC not working, the bathroom handle broke off, etc.). Looks like the property suffers from a lack of maintenance and service. With proper maintenance and service, this could be an excellent place to visit. Until then, I would not recommend this hotel.

“Not as expected”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2009

i went there with my husband and our 2ys boy,we went for 3 nights from 22 to 25 june.Weather is soooo hot there at this time of the year, better to go in winter, spring or autumn,, so between 2pm and 5 pm it is very hard to go to pool or sea,the sun is burning and we stayed at room.
the resort also have only 1 pool and not large wz a small kiddie pool;
What is good about the place is the room,,it is a Chalet viewing the pool and hhaving 2 seperate bed rooms,one king sized bed and one with 2 beds so if u have kids wz this is good as u can have ur own time :) the cahlet has living area wz small dining table and a kitchenette wz kattle,refrigarator and electric oven,and has 2 bathhrooms one only u can shower in..and the showering cabin is so small..i was 7 month pregnant,i fitted very hard in it.The beach is good,,red sea is great , they offer cruises "they said" but we didint try one but no water sports at all.
Kids area is very small..only 3 or 4 games nit suitable to my son age group,they have billiard ,ping-pong table and a small t.v for playstation,but i see kids will not enjoy that much in the hotel
The worst thing is Food..breakfast better then dinner..u can rate it 7of 10 but dinner is horrible,,very very limited menu and nearly no desert,,it was very bad.
And the other thing that annoyeh us that they hosted a visit from an orphan's house for 2 days..many kids about 20 or 30 in pool make it very noise and messy,,they should tell u before booking that this weekend will have this and u choose,,if u were going relaxing that will defenitly bother u
So..my short veacation eas not as i expected..it was not worthing the money an it is very expensive as regard the srevices they offer..i don't think i will go again
