I don’t know where to begin but I am writing to explain my awful experience in Ramada Hotel in Ein el sokhna, Egypt.
I stayed there for 3 days feast vacation from 06th November 2011 till 09th November 2011; well let's start for the rooms;
- I booked the villa type near of the sea side, the construction of the villa is ok but when I get inside the 4 bathrooms of the villa all of the toilets was cracked and moving while sitting on it , the bath doors in 2 of them was broken !! Means the water will be splashed all over the bathroom when you are taking a bath.
- The services is too slow when order something to be changed in the rooms , the towels color become grey cause of dirt and not change it when it gets old, the cleaning process is so bad when I get in my room I found a pack of cigarettes from the previous guests !! (Which means it didn’t get cleaned well), the room have only one electric plug and it's used by bed lamp! The bathroom doesn’t have any electricity plugs!
- The beach is semi clean, you can spot many old cigarettes in the sand and old boxes, there is no trash cans by the beach, the hotel was fully booked and the umbrellas numbers, chairs and chaise long was so limited (the old beach boy tolled me when I wanted to grab a chair to sit with my family that every umbrella can be only for 4 or 5 people max!! which mean I can not sit where I want by the beach!!).
- Last but not least by the open buffet , 1st day of the vacation the dinner was ok , food quality was more than ok and everything is fine, just sometimes you can not have another serviette , the 2nd day breakfast was the biggest disappointment , the place is so tiny for the numbers of guests , there is a small corner for preparing eggs which everyone must have on his breakfast so you can stand in that row by force for at least 10 min to get what you want even if its not eggs ! (We tolled the management that from the 1st day but they didn’t change the system of servicing for the next 3 days) the pastries all of it is the same taste and its tasteless, the 1st day nice dinner turned to be like the breakfast tasteless! And very hard to get another clean spoon, fork, knife if you want beside there have limited quantities of everything!!
Over all it’s a very bad experience there and I will never go to any Ramada hotel branch all over the world and will keep warn guests of that place cause its obvious they don’t want to change anything and keep their expenses low even for the hotel basics.
Room Tip: do not take a room in that hotel !!
