Positive: rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel also has a nice restaurant and all in all, it is a decent hotel.
Negative: I hated, absolutely hated my experience.
Let's see...It started off by me waiting for the darn shuttle for over an hour. So much for confirmation I will be picked up and so much for the promise that the shuttle sticks to the schedule. As I saw about gazillion shuttles from other hotels stopping by, I finally had to call the hotel via my American phone (hello, roaming). They promised that the shuttle was on its way. I waited for some more - enjoying a burning sun and no water. When I finally got picked up (ummm sorry, anyone?), I let the front desk know about this "wonderful experience". They did apologize finally and they promised they will make sure the rest of my stay will be superb (muahaha). My reservation confirmation clearly stated that I asked for a non-smoking room with two beds (my lady friend was flying from Germany to join me later that evening). As the front desk guy was issuing me a room key, he asked if I'd need anything. I asked for some water as I was pregnant (as I told him) who was stuck on the shuttle stop waiting for their shuttle for over an hour under the burning sun (as I also told him)...I was very thirsty. He gave me a bottle of water and CHARGED me for it. I realize that I was not in a US hotel so I was not holding my breath for a complimentary dinner but I hoped that water could be free since it's thanks to them I was so fried. For god's sake, I was pregnant! Then I had to drag my luggage upstairs (once again, no offer to help out). Where - Yay!- my room had only one bed, one working hot faucet for two sinks, no soap. I went back to see the front desk, explained the situation and asked whether it's their idea of the "superb stay". I got another key and was sent to move my stuff to a new room, with two beds. Their excuse for this inconvenience was that their system doesn't show my reservation preferences. Hmm, strange...The reservation confirmation received from THEIR site clearly showed my preference. So, the ordeal doesn't end here. Next morning as I insisted they finally help me with my luggage and my friend's, they started pulling our suitcases out of the room and BROKE my friend's suitcase! it was NOT transportable at that point as they broke the handle in half. Speechless, we were waiting to see what this "wonderful" hotel is going to offer. They tried to make it sound like it's our fault...Honestly, a brand new suitcase! Then they found us a hand-me-down very old HUGE suitcase one of the previous guests asked them to dispose. That was their solution. I am beyond disgusted with this hotel and their so-called customer service. They should be ashamed of themselves! While things break down sometimes (shuttle if to believe them), it's not too much to offer a free bottle of water and some help with luggage without breaking anything...Even a simple apology seemed to be unheard of.
