This hotel is easy to reach from the airport and their shuttle service is very practical. The bedroom had a very good price/quality ratio and I even took advantage of the small swimmingpool they have on the... third floor (I think). We had a problem with the air conditioning that was only blowing hot air out, but we managed to sleep very well despite the 22°C early evening (it could have been summer :-) ) Very quiet and brilliant breakfast buffet in the morning. (better than the evening dinner in the restaurant, which did not have a very satisfying price/quality ratio)
I do not see why we should not stay in this hotel anytime we fly to Barcelona and particularly if we need to use the advantage of proximity to the airport. (not so sure about the restaurant... probably we will, mostly because it is practical but hopefully there will be a bit more to eat in the plates...)

“Better than average airport hotel”

For a one night stay near the airport and port, the Ciutat del Prat was much better than expected. The property is clean and well maintained, and aside from the flowery odor of disinfectant that seems to permeate the building, our stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The hotel is in a rather strange location of mixed industrial and residential, but very little commercial activity nearby in the way of shops or restaurants. Taxis will charge a 20 Euro minimum for the 10 minute ride from the airport, but the return trip on the free shuttle is very convenient. I wouldn't count on trying to locate or call for the shuttle for pickup at the airport. Recommended for an overnight stay, but for anything more I would look for a hotel in the city proper.

“Perfect for late arrival or early departure”

Reason for stay was late arrival, 20.00, and we decided to book this hotel. Perfect, clean hotel free shuttle bus from/to airport. NB! Shuttle from terminal 2 is exactly between buildings B and C. There is special stop for shuttle buses. Very easy to find.

“Excellent!”

I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to sleep for a night to catch a plane in the morning. It was worth my every penny - free shuttle rides to and from the airport, nice room, friendly staff - all for 60eur only! Thanks Salles Hotel!

“Nice Hotel handy for airport and port”

We stayed for only one night prior to a cruise and booked their Port transfer room offer. This was very good value for money offering a port transfer and included breakfast. The shuttle from the airport was excellent and was waiting for us as soon as we collected our luggage. The room although a little small was all we needed for one night and was very clean and tidy. breakfast which was included had a choice of hot or cold items and was quite good. We arrived late in the evening and had a meal in the hotel restaurant which was very nice and reasonably priced. Transfer to the port the next day was very useful. A bit out from the city and appeared to be in a bit of an industrial area, but as we were only using the hotel as a stop over this was not a problem for us. Overall very good value for money.
