Perfekte Gastgeber, Wohlfühl-Urlaub, tolle Anlage
Wir haben unseren Sommerurlaub im Juli 2018 in dieser Ferienanlage verbracht, im Appartment Azzurro. Das Appartment ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sauber, groß, ruhige Lage. Auf der gemütlichen Terrasse sieht man direkt zum gegenüberliegenden Pool. Die Ferienanlage ist wunderschön gestaltet mit herrlich duftenden Lavendel- und Rosmarinsträuchern, schönen Blumen, gepflegter Gesamtzustand. Agriturismo Poggianto befindet sich in absoluter Ruhelage, man erreicht die Anlage über eine Schotterstraße und findet sich mitten in der stillen Natur wieder.
Die familiäre Betreuung durch unsere Gastgeber hat unsere Vorstellung einfach übertroffen. Mit Herz und Seele wird diese Ferienanlage betrieben, an oberster Stelle steht das Wohl der Gäste, was hier wirklich gelebt wird. Unser tägliches Highlight war das stets frisch zubereitete Abendessen, bestehend aus 4 Gängen von köstlichen, authentischen, toskanischen Spezialitäten bei herrlicher Aussicht von der Terrasse über das Arno Tal. Ein richtiger Wohlfühl-Platz!
Die Lage des Agriturismo eignet sich ideal für Ausflüge in die Toskana, nach Florenz, Siena, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Vinci, ins Chianti, ... Aber man muss auch nicht immer fahren, um schönes zu entdecken - die herrlichen Wälder, der Fluss Arno und die Wiesen in der unmittelbaren Umgebung laden für schöne Spaziergänge und Wanderungen ein. Eine absolute Empfehlung!

Excellent find!
First time I've stayed in Italy in such a property and - lets face it - its always going to be a bit of gamble! This was one that paid off. The property is very rural - up an un-surfaced road - but it is worth the effort! Stunning house well restored and great facilities. The pool was a good size and the apartment was perfect! For just two, it was very spacious and comfortable and I cannot think of any negatives. There was also a little patio with furniture. All in, a great find!
There is also the chance to eat under the Pergola, by the owners house, where a three course supper with water/wine is provided for a bargain price! I ate twice there and loved it.
Some folk found the access road a bit daunting; I was in a small hired car and it managed! Don't let that put you off. Great base to visit right across Tuscany and don't miss Arezzo!

Great location for a relaxed family vacation
Very well managed.
Very clean. The apartment is very spacious and the living space is a great place for family reunions and common dining.

Relax e gusto
Abbiamo soggiornato 5 giorni in questo bellissimo agriturismo, con i nostri cani, l'appartamento molto curato e ristrutturato in tipico stile toscano, spazioso e dotato di tutti i confort come a casa propria, e molto molto pulito. I gestori sempre sorridenti e pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Il piccolo ristorante con una visuale stupenda è assolutamente da provare!!! Ricordo ancora le lasagne e le ricche grigliate accompagnate da un ottimo chianti rosso. La collocazione della struttura è ottima per visitare le città d'arte vicine come arezzo, Siena, Firenze,...... ecc. Ogni mattina pativamo dall'agriturismo con i nostri cani per fare lunghe passeghiate l'ungo il fiume arno. Riassumendo: bel posto, bellissimi appartamenti, cibo divino, persone cordialissime e cani benvenuti!!!! Ci torneremo molto presto.

This rental was everything we hoped for and more
The whole agriturismo was truly beautiful with all the amenities including the pool, gardens and apartment finished to a very high standard. The views from the property were beautiful and there were several scenic walks from the door. It was immaculately clean and the owners were all helpful. The restaurant on site was excellent with home grown fresh vegetables used in the delicious Tuscan regional dishes.

Great location and very friendly hosts
Marina was a great hostess. She gave us suggestions for Cortona and Arezzo and even gave us suggestions for Florence. Davide is a great chef. We had dinner there the first night and all the food was locally sourced.
The setting is very quiet and restful. My husband was able to walk the property and surrounding area while I was still sleeping in the morning. Although the farm is out of the way, it still was an easy drive to Cortona and Arezzo. The apartment was very spacious. We were there a bit early in the season, but I could imagine sitting on our private patio overlooking the fields for our meals.

About the neighbourhood
The holiday farmhouse 'Antiche Dimore di Poggianto' lies in an elevated position, amid gentle hills, with a panoramic view over the natural reserve of the river Arno. Around the property there are several paths to take a stroll or jog enjoying the Tuscan countryside.
The farm is located in the municipality of Pergine Valdarno and it is centrally located to explore Tuscany and all its beauties. From here you can easily reach the most famous historical cities such as Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, San Gimignano, the Chianti area, the Valdichiana and the Casentino.
Getting around
Laterina and Pergine Valdarno are just a couple of kilometres away, each of them with its supermarket, gas station, bank, post office, chemist and shops. Both towns are worth a visit for their old medieval centres. In the area around the farmhouse you shall find golf-courses, tennis courts and riding grounds and also go hiking and cycling. Some of the most important Italian spa towns are here in Tuscany and for those who might like to go shopping, there are several outlets of the most famous Italian fashion brands just a few miles away from us.
