Great value for the price. Our room was neat and tidy, and had everything as promised on the website. Beautiful view, walking distance to everything and the beach was fantastic. We have been going to this hotel for 3 years and highly recommend it. Great family vacation spot.

We just got back from Balm Beach Resort after 3 days of relaxation. Waking up and viewing the beach is a rare find without even leaving your room, and did I mention the reasonable rates as well.

The room had everything we needed including a kitchenette stocked with dishes, pots, pans and utensils and barbeques were provided for outdoor cooking including picnic tables to eat. As for towels...well you just had to leave out the dirty ones and fresh ones were delivered (maybe the previous reviewer was unaware of the procedure and decided to use the same towels for days...YUCK!)

Everything was within walking distance including an arcade for the kids, a bar and grill and even ice-cream too. Don't worry if you've forgotten anything as there is a variety store there too.

Mark was very friendly and courteous and we will definately be back.

Relaxing, clean, quiet. Right across from an endless beach. Mark was an amazing host - very personable, helpful and went out of his way to ensure that are stay was what we had hoped for. He truly loves ensuring that everyone's stay is perfect. We booked the efficiency unit but also enjoyed the great food options within a 2 minute walk. A great break from the fast pace of life. My husband and have been taking yearly trips to Balm Beach Resort for about 5 years now. We absolutely love it!! The people are friendly, the rooms and clean and tidy and it is right across from the beach. Mark (the owner) makes you feel like you are right at home. He is so accomodating and friendly. There are BBQ's, shuffleboard, and nightime bonfires. A truly relazing holiday with the bonus of a nice community. Glad to know there are still great places like this find around. This is one place you do not want to miss. You'll be going back for years. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
