This hotel has a fantastic location with fjord views on three sides. The hotel is clean, the staff friendly (when to be found), the rates reasonable and the rooms quite large although the decore is a bit dated.

I was a little disappointed with the breakfast buffet which was more limited than a normal Scandinavian breakfast - particularly the lack of choice when it came to types of bread. The lunch buffet does not have a large selection, but everything tasted very nice. Dinner was excellent.

If you are in Stromstad, it is definately not a bad place to stay. The hotel is located on the seafront smack bang in the town centre. Some of the rooms have balconies, so it might be an idea to ask for one of those rooms if you are there during the summer.

We needed hotel in Stromstad at the beginning and end of our holiday. We enjoyed our stay and tried to book again but it was full. Eventually found accommodation for £40 which showed how expensive it was here! Nice beakfast, comfortable room with lovely view. Great bathroom/shower!

Spent an weekend at this hotel in July.

We had a room with tiny balcony on the upper floor in the annex. The room was very clean but small. The balcony was tiny, barely room for 2 chairs and a table - you had to rearrange the chairs to get in/out to the room. The beds were good.

The breakfast was what you can expect from a swedish middle class hotel - nothing fancy. But the logistics weren't really thought through. It might be organized good for a normal weekend but when the hotel is fully booked the amount of people made it a nightmare.

If you are arriving by car - don't count on getting a parking space.

Conclusion: Overpriced but what can one expect in the peaktime of summer.The personnel were friendly and helping. Location: fantastic
