“Great hotel and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

It has been a while since I was in Greece, but I often think back to our trip and always remember how wonderful our stay was at the Princess of Mykonos. The staff is very friendly, food is great, and the room was very spacious and clean. We had a room right off the pool and it had the most magnificant view. The property was very peaceful. It was very convenient to catch a cab or bus to town anytime we wanted. I can't wait to go back to Greece and will definitely stay at Princess of Mykonos again.

“Lovely Hotel, Lovely Room, Lovely Staff.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2011

My partner and I stayed at the Princess of Mykonos at the end of August. On arrival we were both greeted by Poppy who provided us with lots of useful information about the island and getting around (bus stops, beaches etc). We were then shown to our room, no. 405, which was beautiful and felt like a lot of thought went into making it feel just right. We were also provided with a voucher giving us money of a meal in the hotel restaurant on the first night, and I recommend you take the opportunity as the food is fantastic and the service very attentive.

The hotel is a short walk away from the bus stop which runs half hourly during the day time and later runs hourly up until 02:00. If you miss the last bus, I'd advise against walking as we did one night and wished we had just got a taxi.

The shutters one the windows and patio doors provide real functional character keeping the room cool during the day while your away, and keep the light out should you want to sleep later in the morning.

The breakfast was very tasty with a choice of pastries, breads, cold meats, sausages, streaky bacon, egg, and fresh vegetables. Drinks include the usual coffee, tea and orange juice but thankfully you can pour the orange juice into a glass which holds more than one sip of liquid!

If you wish to stay by the pool one day, loungers are easy to come by, and beach towels are available from the pool bar which can be used either for the loungers or taken with you to beaches around the island.

I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Mykonos, the staff are so pleasant, Poppy, Maria and everyone else will ensure you have a great time!

“Wonderful hotel run by very special staff”

I stayed here for seven nights on a Thomson late deal package, I chose this hotel due to the great reviews on trip adviser. It must be said that it got off to a shaky start as on arrival we were shown our room which was not what we had booked, we booked a double room with a balcony and sea view but were shown a terraced room with a partial sea view, I told the girl Maria that this was not what we had booked and she said we would have to wait for Poppy to come back to see if there was another room, after about 30 mins Poppy arrived and she managed to get us a beautiful room with spectacular views over the bay and Mykonos town, I think to be honest we were fortunate that the hotel was only half full and it was not a problem to change rooms, it may have been a different story during peak season.
Every thing that has been said on previous good reviews are spot on, it would be hard to add to them, every one of the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are fantastic, restaurant is very good, it even has a huge gym which was a bonus as I had never seen it mentioned before.
The only negative comments I have and you have got to mention them are...the mattresses are liquid filled which I could not get used to, the TV had no english speaking channels and the picture was awful, every where else in the village seemed to have a better picture, think it was maybe as they had sat/tv. When we were there it was very windy and the shutters on the windows banged badly at night which was annoying, there was also a little niaf! of a dog who lived in a little kennel directly in front of the hotel who enjoyed making a great deal of noise every time someone walked past his territory.
All in all this hotel was a wonderful experience even with the slight negativity, the good points far outwayed the bad and I would still return.

Room Tip: e mail the hotel to make sure you have the room you booked

“Great Location in Mykonos”

The Princess of Mykonos is a wonderful hotel just a short taxi ride from Mykonos. Our room was large and comfortable overlooking the pool. The hotel is generally quiet but at same time lively. There is an excellent restaurant here, not to be missed. There is also a great beach only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Beach rent chairs and umbrella and has a very nice waterfront restaurant.

As nice as the Princess is, I cannot say enough about the staff. Helpful and very friendly. The make you feel so welcomed, it is almost like visiting good friends.
