Whether you are into golf, shopping or the beach this resort is well located for a rest. Although its in an outer satellite city of Perth everything you need is close. The rooms are spacious and quiet and the staff are friendly. The grounds are peaceful and the area is well kept. A really enjoyable stay and I will be back.

Two old blokes on golfari, so this was ideal. Overall the facilities are first-class - if you are a golfer, make sure you play the Quarry 9 as part of your round, it's visually stunning and a great test of your game.
We had a Lakeview room, clean, comfortable, bright and spacious with a very nice outlook. Breakfast in the main restaurant was the normal resort fare, it was OK, (coffee was only average) but we would probably use the coffee shop more often if we went back.
We only had dinner there once, and both agree we could have chosen better from the menu.
A tip - take up social membership if you are staying 3 or more nights, and plan to use the facilities extensively. Or plan to shop in the pro shop extensively. $55 gets you $10/night room reduction, 10% off food and bevvies, and 10% off in the pro shop. You'll soon get your $55 back.

Ran a leadership course there and the service, facillities and attention were all very good, despite there being many other groups there. The food in the restaurant was excellent as were the lunches and snacks provided for our group. Beautiful setting and the rooms are large and excellent. One of few places that provides free wireless internet = a big plus. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

We'll use Joondalup again for our workshops and I'd happily stay there even if not running a workshop.

My husband and I stayed for one night for a wedding held at the resort. It is a great little place tucked away, surrounded by beautiful gardens with a good sized pool. I thought it made a great wedding venue as there were plenty of great spots for photographs and the staff were very friendly. The room we stayed in was a twin double room with large shower and balcony. I thought the room was nice and modern with simple furnishing and typical of most hotels. The down side was the food which I thought was very average, and breakfast was in my opinion not worth at all what we paid for ($30pp) but aside from that it's a 30 min drive into Perth CBD and about 10 minutes from the beach and major shopping centers.
