“Watch out for mosquitoes”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 June 2007

Reasonable public areas and facilities but the rooms are a great let down! Very basic, not well cleaned and cramped.
No air - conditioning in the hotel and surrounded by woods with lots of mosquitoes buzzing around your head during the night and biting!!
The hotel had no solution to the problem.
I would recommend taking your own mosquito plug if you have to stay here.

“Hard to find but worth the effort!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 January 2007

We stayed here when we'd go antiquing - or to the flea market at Cuijk. Very convenient location -- nice and out of the way. It is somewhat nestled in the woods in a residential area. LOOK for the sign, which is near a long row of trees that line both sides of the road. I drove past it several times before getting it right.

Be warned - we arrived late at night once (at 9 pm), and the restaurant had just closed. I threw my kids back into the car, and began the hunt for an open restaurant . There were plenty in the area, but they were ALL closing around the same time! Finally,
we saw the golden arches... ahhhhh! Not too far from the hotel - and it was the only place open!

Hotel is clean, breakfast was very nice (typical Euro breakfast, with lots of choices - kids liked it). Stayed there at least 3 times.
I usually only selected hotels w/pools (so the kids could have some fun), and if I recall correctly, this hotel DOES have a pool. Forgive me if I'm wrong!

Staff is friendly & helpful. If you're travelling w/children, call the hotel directly and ask to see if they have a "family" room - much bigger, not too much more expensive. They may not have them anymore - but it's worth a shot.

“Great choice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 October 2006

Very pleasant, helpful staff, good room, great for a range of activities, easy cycle or bus into city centre. Ideal choice for a varied visit to the area. Would certainly stay there again.
