Our tour group stayed here for three nights. Most of us had complaints about the place. We didn't expect luxury in the Amazonian jungle, but this place definitely needs improvement.
The cabins were at a distance from the main building along poorly-lit gravel paths. Since there was no electricity in the cabins, we were given kerosene lanterns, but they were not very effective, except to illuminate the crawling and flying creatures that shared our dwelling. (Yes, there were screens, but the insects got in anyway.) We did have a nice view of the river from the balcony off our room.
Our cabin was above one other, and we clearly could hear the couple below us talking, even though they were just using conversational tones. The couple asked us to remove our shoes (which were rubber-soled) because they heard us walking on the floor (their ceiling).
The bathroom was large, and two big, thick towels were provided (no hand towels). You had your choice of water temperature in the big shower -- scalding or freezing. Actually, ir wasn't a choice, as the temperature changed randomly from one to the other. The bathroom sink didn't have this problem, as it only had cold water.
There was a computer in the main building for the use of guests and a place to charge the many electronic items that people travel with these days: laptops, phones, shavers, cameras, etc.
The staff was accommodating, and made it possible to maintain the special dietary requirements of our group.
