“Interesting hotel at very beautiful Primosten”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 August 2011

I stayed there early June and even I was on a conference, in this hotel ifelt i was on holidays. The scenery is really beautiful as the hotel has a whole peninsula to lay on with many different beaches and views of the dalmatian coastline. the rooms have 2 categories , I stayed in the 4 star category which was acceptable but not really something to remember about. The room itself was small but the balcony and the view were better. The internet coonection was a joke a s you were provided with a 30 cm ethernet cable , so you really were processing only emergency e-mail needs in a non comfortable seating. The food on the other side was nice and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The pastry chef is definitely something they need as the desserts were tasteless. The variety was interesting but we did not taste any local dishes in the hotel. On the contrary picturesque Primosten was only 5 min away and everything there is local and respectively charged. Overall it was a nice break .

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms close to the pool that have very nice balconies.

“3 star for a 5 star price.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2011

I am having hard time to describe this hotel I actually do not understand why it exists at all close to the beautiful little village Primosten.
The hotel complex consists of several square shaped buildings lined up at the seaside. However, the very last building is only a concrete sceleton, deserted as if the owner suddenly ran out of money. It is ideally situated on a peninsular and surrounded by pebble beach and stunning sea. Watersports and sunloungers available for a fee.

We did not book through an agency or tour operator. For the money we paid it was a rip off.

Room:
We got a room in the updated part. Two doublebeds in two separate rooms. Rooms and bathroom nice and clean put furnished like a 3-star hotel. For example one chair for four persons. French balcony but there were other rooms with proper balconies.
Beach towels charged 15kunas per day per person! Seemed like standard in Croatia.
Aircon acceptable but during hot times the aircon was not efficient enough.

Pool:
Interesting. Half indoors and very hot. And it was 35degrees outside! Felt outdated and totally meningless.

Food:
Food ok but a terrible ambience. It felt like shortage of staff and no control what so ever if you were allowed to eat or not. Most of the guests, mainly French guests, were all inclusive. The rest had halfboard.
We decided to eat out the last day or you would miss out beautiful Primosten.
Fresh food but mostly cooked veggies and one day even leftovers from the beachbar selling greek salad. Shortage of fresh veggies. Tasteless sweets for dessert.
Could notimagine eating the same food for 1 to 2 weeks.
Breakfast ok for a 3 star standard compare to western standards.

Staff:
Friendly staff in reception. Have no idea about animators etc. Kids club mainly French.

Guests:
From countries close to Croatia and the hotel also seemed to cater for all inclusive groups from France.

Maybe the other guests had better deals than us but the price the hotel mentions and the prices on booking.com are in high season definitely a waste of money.
After three nights we checked out and moved in to an apartment next door to the hotel. Half price and much better!

If you must stay here get a room in the better part with a balcony and bargain hard. There are lots of nice restaurants around Primosten do not get stuck in the hotel. There are also a lot of privat accomodation/apartmani available.

“Great hotel”

I stayed with my family in Zora hotel and everything was perfect. The room was nice and clean and the view was just amazing. The staff was very nice, smiling and helpful. There is also so much to do for people who don´t like just lying on the beach - sports, animation programs, trips. Primosten is just beautiful town. It was my first time in Croatina and I would definately visit again.

“Perfect holiday”

Where do i start?
I have travelled around Croatian coast, i have stayed in hotels ranging from 3-star to 5-star Deluxe but nothing comes close to this place.
Location itself is absolutely amazing with hotel being situated on the peninsula owned by the hotel itself.
You will have very hard time finding a 5-star hotel with such a location( i am quite sure one day this will be a 5 star hotel)
The peninsula is covered with pinetrees which provide cover from the sun during all day.
Hotel is basically series of buildings interconnected with nice looking wooden-glass tunnels.
There is a 4 star part of the hotel and the rest is 3 stars.
4 star rooms are new, with airconditioning and that is the only diference between them.
We stayed in 3-star room. Room was old, needing some freshening up, but spacious, clean, with brilliant new huge beds, phenomenal seaview looking at Primosten's oldtown.
There are 4 tennis courts, mini-golf, two beach bars that serve food as well, volleyball court, basketball court, kid's playground with litlle pools, etc.
Everything you could ever imagine is right there in front of you.
Being an peninsula, beaches are all around and boy are they beautifull.
Oldtown with tens of restaurants and bars is 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Let's talk about the food. We are very serious about our food.
Food in this hotel is excellent and can be found only in better 4-star hotels.
Great choice and variety of food, freshly cooked and plenty of it.
Enormous amounts of fresh veggies which are really expensive compared to meat, yet hotel doesn't seem to be cutting any corners, just the opposite. We were really amazed.
Breakfast or dinner are served in hotels dining room which is located some 20 meters from the sea and has spectacular view.
We stayed with 5 year old daughter and this place is just perfect for families with kids because there are so many things to do they will never get bored and everything you might need is right there.
And the last thing about his hotel but not the least.
The staff.
They are brilliant, dedicated, allways in the good mood, make you feel welcome regardless of whether you are at the reception desk, bar, dining room or else.
Staff is clearly 5-star and this kind of service is hard to find anywhere for any kind of money.

I only hope i didn't put spell on them with all this praise, but i couldn't help myself.
This was a perfect vacation.

“Could be better! Beautiful location, hotel cheap & cheerful.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2010

The location is stunning. the coastline is beautiful and the weather was great. The hotel has two parts; the posh bit and the "old" bit. we stayed in the posh bit and the room was just acceptable by modern western standards. We had a room with a balcony that just about afforded a nice view through the dense trees. There was no air con and it was hot. The restaurant is not good at all. Very basic tasteless food. Primosten itself was very nice and the surrounding towns provided some good trips. The conference facilities were pretty good and provided what we needed. The pool looks great from a distance with it's opening ceiling but is a bit tired and needs a refurb and the saltwater pool was quite nice.
