We were stuck in Nantes on a busy convention week, after a trip to La Baule and Normandy, and were only able to get a reservation at an Etap in the suburbs. We went begging at the Oceania, as we had a flight to Paris, then Detroit, the next morning- and hoped we could stay at the airport. They gave us their last room off a hallway they warned us was under construction. The room needed remodeling, but was very clean - and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was very professional and kind. The restaurant were nice enough to serve us ice cream and coffee after we had gone into Nantes to visit their famous botanical garden - and the morning breakfast was delicious and reasonable. Am sure there were much better rooms, but we were happy just to be there with a courtesy bus operating to the airport.
