When arriving, leave the turn to Peroj on the right and continue for 400 meters to city parking. Take the card and call reception and they will pick you up in a golf cart (eventhough its 5 mins walk, it is nicer to start a holiday by not dragging your suitcases through the gravel in parking). Really nice bar shaped as a boat, really nice hotel, great staff which will arrange a trip to the Brijuni national park (higly recommended, golf court originally from 1922, interesting historical site-from Roman times to Tito 's hideaway).
Special area for dining in the Istrian garden in the back ,but also very nice to have breakfast outside on the hotel terrace which is not directly on the boardwalk. Hotel is near the church (not loud), and it has 2 parts : 1 with 20-ish rooms, and another with the SPA area (price difference is not that high).
Eventhough the price is quite high, it is a bit exclusive so worth it.
A tip for cigar lovers: check the cigar shop next to the parking area for Brijuni hotel (not the city parking) guests: walk alongside the coast ,turn left after the restaurantsand then right and at the end you will find a small shop with a well maintained humidor.

My wife and I stayed in Fazana for four nights after flying from the U.S. and driving 2.5 hours from Ljubljana. We wanted a small town or village for relaxation, good location for day trips, and a perfect place to stay. We got all of this in Fazana and Villetta Phasiana. The hotel is on the town plaza, along with a handful of local restaurants, the church, and the harbor. Our corner room was well-appointed and very clean. Not a huge room, but big enough for a desk and reading chair. Breakfast is excellent with many choices and different items each day. Breakfast is served in the hotel tavern (good spot for a nightcap)and on the patio. The desk clerks were all extremely helpful and friendly. During our stay there were at least three, maybe four different clerks and they were all great. Overall the hotel is very well maintained, very clean, and elegant in tasteful, understated way. If you want class without the hubbub of an urban or resort hotel, this is the place.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights as we were referred to it by a hotel in Rovinj which ranked very highly on Trip Advisor and was unavailable for the nights we wanted. It is run by the same company. We thought it would be a good base for exploring Pula and Rovinj.The hotel is located at the back of the square next to the church, not right on the waterfront as we thought from the photos on the website. We paid extra for a seaview which was really just a glimpse of the sea. The room was very well appointed but very small. The main drawback was the church bells which other reviews have commented on. When your room is only a few metres from the bell tower it is impossible to sleep through the bells ringing even with double glazing - and they start at 6am. If you stay at this hotel don't request a sea view room - you might have a better chance of sleeping through the bells. Breakfast was excellent with a pleasant outdoor seating area outside facing the square with excellent service.
Fazana is mainly a departure point for the Brijuni National Park and as such has large numbers of people passing through on their way to and from the islands. Restaurants line the waterfront , all offering similar food of average quality. We had envisaged a quiet fishing village which is not the case. Our suggestion for people who want to stay in this area but avoid the large resorts around Pula would be to head for Rovinj which is very attractive with many more options for accommodation and dining.
In the end we only stayed one night at the hotel as we wanted to stay an extra night on the large islands to the south east of Istria. The staff were great when we asked if we could cancel our second night. Luckily we had booked direct so it was not a problem. Overall the friendly helpful staff were a highlight of our stay.
