Our first time to Croatia and we were looking for a place near Pula. We found Phasiana by luck via Tripadvisor and took a chance. This turned out to be positive in many ways. First, it's close enough to Pula to give you access for touring conveniently (if you have a car), but far enough removed to be quaint and private. We soon found out that the folks who regularly vacation in the area consider the town (Fazana) to be THE place to go for a beautiful view of the sea and a solid selection of restaurants. Phasiana was recently completed as an historic restoration, is very well appointed and well cared for. The staff was there for us at every turn and went out of their way to make sure we got the most out of Croatia. It's a winner.
