We arrived by RER and walked to the hotel. Hint: make sure you dont lose your RER ticket before you leave the train...you'll need it to leave the station. We ended up sneaking out behind other people because we didnt have our tickets nor was there anyone to help. Anyway, it was dark, and cold, and we didnt know where to go. The street signs are extremely hard to see, but we eventually found the way and walked to the hotel. I am not sure of the safety of the area, but I personally was a little frightened, even though it wasnt very late. I'm sure it was fine though.
When we got there, the office was closed, but we used a machine to check in, which was pretty simple. Hallways were long and windy, and smelled of urine. Our room was very clean, slightly modern, not bad! Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a bit uncomfortable. I burned myself twice on the metal wall connection thing, where the water goes to the shower hose/head. Hard to explain. There was a kitchenette, but we didnt use it. Good to have micro and fridge. Included dishes and everything you would need, though no kettle. The bed was...not great. Just a sofa bed already opened, very squeaky, and dipped in the middle. But we were exhausted so we slept fine. TV with French channels, lots of cabinetry but not much space for walking. Fine for 2 people. The windows were thin, to the point where we thought on multiple occasions that they were open. Not too noisy outside, but every once in a while we heard a ruckas. No noise from other rooms or floors though, but we also zonked pretty fast.
Overall not bad, but wish we could've talked to someone at check-in, just to make sure everything was OK. Oh there is a mall nearby, and a grocery store as others have said. That was perfect for us, I would recommend stocking up on snacks there for Disneyland as there are no stores near the park (as far as I know). We then took the RER to the park which was simple, but I think there's a bus...if we had talked to reception I'm sure we could've found out more about that...
