“good standard and great location for the price”

can't fault this hotel - although getting to it was a nightmare! French rer is like a cattle truck! We got the eurostar and then connecting train to disney then had to travel back 1 stop to val de europe on the rer. We waited ages at disney for the train and it was packed - travellers with small children beware!!!
Anyway you come out of val de europe station and see a pub and some trees (lit up in blue at xmas - lovely!). Turn right out of the station. You walk past the hotel ellesy and turn left up a road away from the val de europe mall. Keep walking in a straight line to the top of the street and the hotel is on the right hand corner. 5 minutes walk tops.
Vending machines inside for drinks and snacks were useful and we had a ground floor room with a massive balcony - excellent!
The room is ideal as a base foe sleeping - you get what you pay for and we were very pleased!

“Not too bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

We arrived by RER and walked to the hotel. Hint: make sure you dont lose your RER ticket before you leave the train...you'll need it to leave the station. We ended up sneaking out behind other people because we didnt have our tickets nor was there anyone to help. Anyway, it was dark, and cold, and we didnt know where to go. The street signs are extremely hard to see, but we eventually found the way and walked to the hotel. I am not sure of the safety of the area, but I personally was a little frightened, even though it wasnt very late. I'm sure it was fine though.

When we got there, the office was closed, but we used a machine to check in, which was pretty simple. Hallways were long and windy, and smelled of urine. Our room was very clean, slightly modern, not bad! Bathroom was nice, though the shower was a bit uncomfortable. I burned myself twice on the metal wall connection thing, where the water goes to the shower hose/head. Hard to explain. There was a kitchenette, but we didnt use it. Good to have micro and fridge. Included dishes and everything you would need, though no kettle. The bed was...not great. Just a sofa bed already opened, very squeaky, and dipped in the middle. But we were exhausted so we slept fine. TV with French channels, lots of cabinetry but not much space for walking. Fine for 2 people. The windows were thin, to the point where we thought on multiple occasions that they were open. Not too noisy outside, but every once in a while we heard a ruckas. No noise from other rooms or floors though, but we also zonked pretty fast.

Overall not bad, but wish we could've talked to someone at check-in, just to make sure everything was OK. Oh there is a mall nearby, and a grocery store as others have said. That was perfect for us, I would recommend stocking up on snacks there for Disneyland as there are no stores near the park (as far as I know). We then took the RER to the park which was simple, but I think there's a bus...if we had talked to reception I'm sure we could've found out more about that...

“Excellent value for money”

Paid £450 for a week here in October whilst visiting Disney for 5 days and Paris for 2. Excellent location close to Disney, supermarket, shopping centre and restaurants. Train station and bus stop within a minutes walk.

The aparmtent wasn't perfect (few things broken) but it was clean, warm and suited the purpose well. We were able to cook using the hob/microwave and the fridge had a small freezer compartment.

The sofa bed was very comfy although a little squeeky!

Staff were friendly and helpful.

This was excellent value for money and we would definatly consider staying here again.

Room Tip: Ask for ground floor if you have pushchair/disability. We had a one bed apartment and it was nice to...

“Average”

Hotel with basic cooking facility. Clean rooms.
Hotel quite a distance from central Paris but if you plan on going to Disneyland during your stay in Paris this wouldn't be a problem.
The hotel is also close to a shopping centre where there is big supermarket. Designer shopping outlet, La Vallee Shopping Village is a walking distance.
Hotel staff not that helpful. Would assist you only because they've been paid for and not doing it sincerely.

“Avoid, avoid, avoid”

We arrived at the hotel after an arduous journey from Manchester. It was very difficult to find, even with a GPS. Eventually we managed to park and found reception. The receptionist was actually quite helpful and managed to find me and Mrs D and the rugrats rooms on the same floor. We didnt know what to expect except what we had seen in pictures on the website. All I can say is that they must have been taken with an estate agents camera ;o)
We entered the 'apartment' in to a small hallway which also accommodated the 'kitchenette' (2 electric ring hob, microwave, fridge and sink). The bedroom had a table and 4 chairs, a dressing table with shelves (all flat pack from Ikea), and two single beds pushed together.. all this in a room 9ft x 12ft. There was very little room to squeeze past the beds. The walls were dirty, bedding and pillows of the chapest kind, the room safe was closed and couldn't be opened. The bathroom was small but reasonably clean. The shower holder was broken so the shower head had to be hand held, the toilet paper was like the thinnest newspaper you could find.. this wasnt replenished throughout our 3 night stay. The towels were thin to the point of exhaustion.. these also were not replenished. The scenario reminded me of the halls of residence I stayed in at Uni, although the halls were much better.

The staff generally were indifferent, particularly the domestic staff in the breakfast room who closed it when she felt like and was actually very rude on more than one occasion.
Security was not great, with the front doors being left open most of the night along with the electric up and over doors to the underground parking. The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the location is great. Next door to La Vallée shopping mall and very close to Disney. Unless you are on a very low budget and a very small person I would suggest you seek alternative accommodation. My reasons for staying there were that there was no other accommodation available for our stay and the pictures looked ok, along with the good reviews... The reviewers MUST have been paid to say that I am sure!!
We definitely WONT be visiting again. Nuff said!
