Stayed 3 nights with our three kids, and enjoyed enormously our experience. Yep, some parts of the hotel are dated, but fantastic see view and conveneience of private beach make up for it, Would certainly recommend to a friend

A relative of mine spent there some days in August. and I went there to have dinner. I also visited the rooms and the hotel.
The lounge , the private pool and the common parts are really shabby. The food and the restaurant below average and the atmosphere is not very good.
The rooms are nice but terraces are like hot cubes made of cement.
The public beach below is very nice instead.

I was in this hotel last week and stayed 3 nights. I had read the negative reviews here before but thought they might have been exaggerated. Well, they are not.My standard room was damp, smelling heavily. Towels were dirty, breakfast was poor and staff unfriendly.You would not expect this from a 4 star, would you? I don't know who gives these stars but this hotel merely deserves a 3 star. The only good thing was the big swimming pool, but again you expect more for 100 Euros a night, at least some clean towels.Yes, the hotel is on top of a hill but you are not going to sit on your terrace- if you have one- all during your holiday, right? They have an access to a private beach, 20 Euros a day - there is a free beach 5 meters walking away!
So, I would not recommend anybody to go to this hotel, waste of money. And somebody should tell the staff to have a little smile!

Day 1 of a TRAFALGAR TOURIST TOUR TO ITALY.Nice large room with spectacular sea view. Hotel situated on a hilltop overlooking the Gulf of Genea and the Ligurian Riviera. Except for the nice view not much of interest. Nice dinning room for breakfast, but very ordinary breakfast. En route for Pise,Florence and Sienne.
