I have spent 5 night for business in the hotel, and this is probably the 4th time, or so, I use it. The location is fantastic, with wonderful views of the Umbria's valley with Gubbio on the other side. The hotel uses two separate buildings in the core of the old village, probably hundreds of years old but restored very well at the highest standards. It's a real pleasure to have the breakfast on the panoramic terrace (which also has the swimming pool, unfortunately I didn't had time to use it...).
I'd suggest to check about wi-fi availability in the specific room: the service is there, but due to the massive walls (some of them probably over two feet) not all the rooms can actually get a decent signal. The personnel has been however extremely willing to help on that, I was actually able to tour 4 different rooms with my notebook on till I found the one with the best signal.
Another thing to note, a few of the rooms face another building from very close, which is not that nice of a view even if it's an ancient wall. I'd suggest to ask for a room with a view on the valley.
All in all, a very nice place with very friendly and helpful personel. Even a recent change in management hasn't lowered the standard.
