Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Rooms smelled like a wet dog. Mildew on the shower tile and curtin, carpets were damp, the skimpy "continental breakfast" consisted of extremely green bananas, granny smith apples (they are baking apples!), chocolate muffins. Hallway carpet is stained/worn. Walls in hallways were in need of repair. The inroom phones did not work. While waiting for a relative, 3 cars stopped at the front and the drivers came in to use the bathroom. Housekeeping "service" missed leaving towels. The light fixture fell out of the ceiling during the night when someone slammed an adjacent door. $2.00 for a bottle of water! The exterior is in need of attention - weeds, trash on ground. This hotel is NOT worthy of the Ramada name. This was booked as a package - never again.

This hotel is is need of serious work. First, the pool was green. The rooms smelled and did not seem clean. I wrote to Ramada and without asking any questions, they sent a refund check. This leads me to believe that they are fully aware of the issue at this hotel. STAY AWAY!

Checked in. Room had a musty chemical smell,wallpaper by the window was peeling off in upper & lower corners. Later realized the remote would not turn on the TV. Went to the front desk multiple times & tried 6 different remotes. None worked even after manually turning the TV on. The only channel I could get was the weather channel. Turned out the lodgenet box on top of the TV was not working. The front desk moved me to the next room over. That room had a dirty musty smell that also probably was partly residual cigarette smoke. The first room had a cotton bed cover, this room had a polyester bed cover. The TV worked in this room. However I noticed small little bugs crawling around on the top of the desk in this 2nd room. I had initially killed one, but then started noticing more. I did not want to deal with the possibilty of dealing with being bitten by insects or worse bedbugs. Luckily I still had the key to the first room. I moved back to that room. Better off having no TV rather than dealing with being bitten or bringing home insects. I skipped the breakfast as I noticed that the plastic plates looked gnawed at. The food itself was not very appealing. There was also something wrong with the waffle mix, waffles were horrible. This hotel really needs to work. I suspect that is why this is no longer under the Hampton Logo/ name.

Room had the musty smell of a locker room. Pool was totally green would of liked the option of its use! HA HA . something bit me in the bed linen. The place just left me wanting more could'nt wait to leave!!!!! AC beach was excellent, buffet at the Taj the best!
