Brilliant entertaiment team,great park, clean and friendly!! Going back for third visit next week

We have a 6 month old baby so we weren't looking for much for our short break - just somewhere to get away for a few days. Sandylands did the job. The park is small but clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The caravan was spacious, very clean and well-equipped. Our TV wasn't working when we arrived and once we went to report it it was fixed very quickly. The only down-side was that because we stayed in October it was wet and windy and the caravan is only single glazed with the only fire/heat being in the living area so the bedrooms were VERY cold at night which we could cope with but wasn't so good for our daughter.
There is a train line running through the centre of the park which you can hear but it didn't bother us very much at all.
We were happy with the swimming pool and had some fun in the arcade. We didn't visit the bar or experience any of the entertainment because of our daughter but there seemed to be a good selection of entertainment on through the week.
The shop was well stocked and was reasonably priced.
There is not a restaurant on site, only a chip shop which we didn't eat from but also seemed reasonably priced and you can take your fish supper into the bar area to eat. We were offered take away menus for the local chinese and indian restaurants in Saltcoats when we arrived. We ordered an indian on the first night which was delivered to our caravan!
So overall, a good experience for us but I don't think we'll be holidaying in a caravan on the west coast of Scotand in October again!

this is the 2nd time we have been here and i would highly recommend it, the park is very clean and well laid out. The caravan on both occasions was great, well equipped and very clean. The staff go out their way to make you feel welcome and if you do have any questions or problems theyre always willing to help.
The arcade is good for kids and the bars are well stocked and cater for all ages.

Had a great time here, loved the area. Caravan was spotless and appreciated the free upgrade. Staff could not have been more helpful.
