If you are not aware of the rating this hotel has (4star), one would doubt as to whether it is 3* or 4*. The rooms are okay, but not lush and could use a minibar and a laptop sized safe. The beds are fine, though the pillows are somewhat soft. Rooms and bathroom are spotlessly clean though.
The bathroom is outdated but technically fine, its shower runs at 'half pace' as does the heater.
The staff is more than friendly and will accommodate any need/desire you might have. We rushed in and had 15 minutes left before we needed to go to a nearby business event. We explained our situation to the waiter, he suggested some main courses that are quickly and easily prepared and 15 minutes later we were indeed on our way. The meal was of good quality, just up from average. But time was of our essence and thus we shouldn't complain at all.
The overall feel is that this hotel tries to run on a minimum required for 4* and hence sometimes slips to 3*. Prices are at 4* level however.
