Hotel Fletcher is a family hotel located in the village of Paterswolde, about 4km south of the city of Groningen and 1km from the A28 Autobahn. Location is good, next to the Paterwolde Lake in a quiet neighbourhood. It is a good starting point for visiting Groningen.

Staffs are competent and friendly. Parking is free. The hotel was built in 1888 and completely renovated in 2004. The interior of the hotel is clean and adequately furnished.

Our room was OK, had a good bed, a satisfactory bathroom and was clean. The buffet style breakfast was acceptable. The hotel offers bicycles and has a complimentary Spa with in-door swimming pool, steam bath, and sauna. These were clean and adequate.

The food in the restaurant is average, service was very friendly.

this hotel is in a really nice location, with good meeting facilities and free bike rental. buffet lunch is quite simple, and the city of groningen is not around the corner, but many people will prefer this hotel to any other in the city.

We, a family of four including two children 10 and 11, stayed a copple of days at this excellent hotel. Rooms are large and very nice. Bathroom is good and clean and it has a very nice Gym and swimmingpool. The service is excellent. It´s one of the few good hotels in (the surrounding of) Groningen. It´s a big advantage that you can walk to the lake with excellent recreational possibilities as well as good restaurants where you can eat and drink with lake-views.
You can rent bikes to get to Groningen (6 km) or just to bike in the neighbourhood.
Very good choice for singles, (older) couples and family´s.

This hotel was very clean, the people were very helpful and we enjoyed walking along the lake. It is in a restful setting not in the center of a city. We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool.
