Stayed on a Saturday night, arrived mid afternoon, one downside is no hotel car park, only on street parking, however reception advised OK to park on single yellow line outside hotel as no wardens on a Saturday. Nice and comfy room with a good big bathroom and a decent hot working shower ( not electric one). Super breakfast with good locally sourced produce. will stay there again

Having recently visited this hotel, I would recommend it to anyone! The food was great! High quality food but reasonably priced for anyone! Also, Tapas are available. Great to see in a local hotel! Staff were very friendly! Would recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!

I went to this hotel when just passing through Dalkeith,we felt very welcome the minute we arrived, The waitress KAREN who always smiled, was very polite and smart made our visit a great plessure. We will be sure to returnthe next time we pass through the town again.
I would recommend this hotel to go to for something to eat , Great service great menu and best off all the great service was second to none.

Stopped for a drink and a meal and ended up having excellent tapas. The service was great too. A couple of tables outside on a fairly busy road but overlooking a lovely church so it was very pleasant. There's also a cafe bar and a separate restaurant. I understand there are new owners who are certainly turning it around. I can't comment on the rooms as we didn't stay but I'm sure they will be up to scratch if the rest of the place is anything to go by.
