We stayed at Bella Vista Hotel as part of a last-minute flight+hotel package and were pleasantly surprised by the value for money. We were greeted by a young, friendly and enthusiastic staff and given a choice of rooms. The whole place is freshly painted in cheerful colors, each room a little different. Rooms are clean, and spacious by European standards. We had a refrigerator, so enjoyed a cold drink on our small balcony before dinner. Location is just a block from the beach and five-minute walk from the restaurants and shops in the village. Not a huge breakfast selection but it was just fine and nicely presented. We loved Corfu and if we're lucky enough to be back, will stay here again.

We booked this hotel based on the reviews I found on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed! The staff is quite friendly. They recommended hidden gems all around the island - from restaurants and beaches to clubs and sightseeing! The hotel has a cozy feel to it with various handmade mural paintings even in rooms. The rooms are quite spacious with nice balconies (eventhough the view is nothing spectacular). It is great value for money too!

I would also recommend staying in Benitses versus other parts of the islands for the following reasons:
1. It's 15 minutes drive from Corfu town which allows you to party and get quickly home
2. If you rent a car, Benitses is central for driving around the beaches throughout the island. I promise the drive is enjoyable.
3. It's 10 minutes away from the airport (without having to hear the sound of planes).

I’ve been staying in Corfu and Bella Vista Hotel in July, 2010. My first time abroad, not many expectations, especially from the 2 stars hotel... but soon I completely changed my opinion.

First of all. hotel arranged for me taxi from the airport. Staff welcomed me very warm. Christina & Nasos, receptionists, were very helpful to me, and later on advised me places to visit, local cuisine, tavernas and restaurants. Hotel helped me with car hire. With a car I visited almost every place on the island. So if you are coming to Corfu, rent one for sure, without it, impossible to fully discover island. As well I went to the trip to amazingly beautiful nearby islands Paxos & Antipaxos by ship, and diving in the Paleokastritsa. Incredible experience! All that offered and booked for me hotel.

Hotel is very bright and colorful outside and inside, with a nice painting of Corfu Town on the small house nearby. Room has a small kitchenette, with basic cooking equipment. At the breakfast they are offering variety of homemade traditional Greek pies: spinach, cream and cheese, Greek yoghurt and fruits. During the breakfast is playing nice music. Also there is small bar, where I spent some time in the evenings with my laptop and frappe (iced coffee drink). Internet is available for free (Wi-Fi + computers near reception). Rooms were kept clean every day.

Benitses is nice and quite village, with lot of restaurants and tavernas. Famous Achilleon Palace is only 40 minutes away by walk. Corfu Town is easily accessible, just 30 minutes by bus. Perfect place to explore island!

Maybe, hotel is not providing luxury, but it’s winning your heart and mind with really friendly atmosphere. I completely enjoyed the time I spent on Corfu and in the hotel, and for sure, I will come here next year.

FULL TRUTH!!!

We stayed at the Bella Vista studios (50m from the hotel) in a nicely decorated double bed room with sea view. We really enjoyed our stay in every aspect ( big room, very clean, reasonably priced in a quiet little village, good breakfast at the hotel, extremely helpful stuff, supermarkets very close).
A few things we didn't like: in the room next to ours there was a family with 2 children who could be rather noisy at times, not much parking space near the hotel.
I must also add that there is not much of a nightlife in Benitses, but Corfu town is only 10-15 mins by car.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our choice.
