I was very impressed with firstly, Penelope the Front Office Manager. So kind and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful time and the things you did to make my stay such a pleasant one.
However- all the staff need a mention, as they are polite, helpful and hard working. Thanks also to my room attendant for tidying up after me every day!!

Next, I was more than happy with the food and drinks service. Amazing selection of cocktails included in the drinks menu. Sparkling wine for breakfast. Extensive range of fresh fruits and salads EVERY meal. You will NOT go hungry here. Fresh gyros lunch and dinner. Homemade soup every evening.

My room had a queen sized bed (a hard bed but it suits my back) and sea view. Nice bathroom with powerful shower. More than enough space but then again I travel light due to previous "overpacking."

The ONLY downside and it's not really the fault of the hotel - loads of cigarette ends on the beach.YUK YUK!!! The sea is gorgeous for swimming and snorkelling though.Take jelly shoes.

I am now keen to try some more Louis Hotels because I think they are an excellent brand. Booked with Olympic Holidays accommodation only. Worked out much cheaper than a package.

Book and go, you won't be disappointed.

When looking for a holiday, I read the reviews on trip adviser regarding the Louis Regency Beach Hotel, so was really surprised the hotel didn’t live up to the high recommendation it got from people who had previously stayed here.

While the hotel is clean and the staff polite, the room is much smaller than seen on the web. A double room had one small closet with 6 hangers and next to know draw space. The beds are so hard I got up with a bad back every morning.

The restaurant is small, and food is basic. Snacks consist of cheese & ham sandwiches already made up. Bars more often than not had one person serving, which meant queuing some time to get a drink.

The entertainment was so poor, most people left after a short while, or when they got more bored to tears watching it than doing nothing at all.

When they say it’s a 15-20min walk to town, what they should tell you is it’s 30-45 mins on a main road with no pavement (comparable to a duel carriage way).

The pool at top of the hotel, where the children’s play area is was so dirty you couldn’t see the bottom. As this is max 4 feet deep, and after I had watch the pool man clean it, it wasn’t very impressive, and not something you’d expect from a 4star (which in my opinion this hotel isn’t).
If you get a cheap deal and want a week doing nothing then go here. If paying the full price as we did, I wouldn’t say its value for money.

We arrived after midnight but were checked in quite quickly and were allocated a sea view room as requested. The recent renovations are a definite improvement, very clean fully working bathroom, new wardrobes etc so plenty of space in a smallish room overall.Fridge refilled with water, very welcome in the very high temperatures we had for Sept.Rooms were cleaned every day although no toiletries only shower gel.
All the staff here are very friendly, as returning guests we would like to thank all the hardworking staff especially Roberta for helping us with our air con,and the bar staff for battling with the wasps(but they wouldn't put us off going again).
Our last visit the Hotel was managed by Iberostar, we feel the bar needs to allow guests to pour their own beer and soft drinks ,like before, and we did miss having lunch on the beach.If the wasps have proved such a problem perhaps the hotel should consider updating the beach restaurant to be partly air conditioned with facilities inside with a smaller outdoor terrace.
We very much enjoyed having a drink on the roof terrace in the evenings, which wasn't open before, not only did it keep you cooler the views of Corfu and the mainland were excellent.
We would still recommend this hotel to family and friends and had a great holiday.
We visited Corfu Town on the local bus, very easy as the bus stop is outside the hotel, and went to Paleokastritsa with friends, beautiful place.

We recently returned from a fantastic week's holiday at Louis Hotel. We were nervous travelling with a 5 month old and 2 year old, but the week exceeded our expectations and was great for kids and adults alike. The food and drink was fantastic. There were always plenty of fresh, delicious options for everyone and I was quite impressed with the food. Cocktails and wine were great as well--and we certainly enjoyed the pool and beach bars! The sea/beach was great for small children. We didn't mind the pebbles, in fact they were quite nice in contrast to having sand stuck to you/your kids and the sea was clear, clean and warm and you could see lots of fish. We brought snorkel gear which is recommended as there was no place to hire any kit. Later in the day once it had cooled off, we could sit on the loungers a few feet from the sea and watch our toddler safely play in the water. The pool was also nice, especially in the morning. It was fairly quiet and relaxing, and the bar was open with snacks and drinks all day. Our room was clean and comfortable, (I loved our cleaning lady--she made such a fuss over our baby!) My only request would have been to have a bit more traditional Greek entertainment/music. The 6th floor was great in the evening, beautiful views and breezes, but the entertainment a bit cheesy for our liking. But the kids enjoyed it and well done to the Animation Team who work very hard. Overall, a great holiday for the price. It's hard to imagine anyone writing a poor review of this hotel, but there are always grumpy people out there who need to complain about something.
