“Perfection!”

This was our first trip to Kefalonia (Sept 18-25th 2011) and we couldnt have asked for a better location. After being offered homemade lemonade and cookies just perfect on a hot Sunday afternoon after a long delayed flight, we were given a choice of rooms (and were upgraded at no additional cost). The rooms are light and airy, very clean and comfortable with fantastic views over the sea and Ithaka. The walm, balmy evenings were perfect on the balcony listening to the light jazz music just added to the whole relaxing atmosphere.The homemade buffet breakfast is stunning, Maira never failed to surprise us, working very hard early every morning to ensure her guests have an array of Greek fayre to choose from - generous and delicious, you just have to experience it :) By the end of the week we felt we had been staying with a dear friend Maira is such a warm and welcoming person. Yes, you need a car but the roads are amazingly quiet and you would miss so much without one. Fiscardo and especially Agnantia will always hold very special memorys for us, we wouldnt hesitate to return and have already recommended this hotel to friends.

Room Tip: The higher you go the better the view.

“Lovely hotel”

We stayed in June 2011, and had a wonderful time. Our room was immaculate, and had beautiful views down to the sea and across the water to Ithaca. Maira the manageress was very helpful and provided delicious local and homemade food for breakfast every day..

I just came back from spending a week at Agnantia. Since it was the end of the season (Sept 23-29), it was almost deserted, which really meant that it was nice and quiet. The hotel is about 5-10 min to Fiscardo by car, and 5-10 to at least 3 beaches nearby. You do need the car. Maira, the manageress, is BEYOND helpful. Even before i arrived, she answered all my endless questions (ferry schedules, area questions, taxi, car hire suggestions, etc). She also provided some suggestions for restaurants and places to visit when i arrived. I tried at least 3 restaurants and they were all good. The breakfast is great (like everyone says) and plentiful. The rooms are good size, nice and cute. Wireless works! The views are awesome. The only thing i'd add to a wish list is a slightly bigger shower area. I kept touching the curtain, but maybe it's because i'm on the tall side. And it could get slightly noisy during the breakfast hour on the veranda, but i didn't mind that since it was a good wake up to get up and taste the goodies. I would recommend the hotel without any hesitation!

Room Tip: Rooms higher up are better.

It was so nice to have you one week with us and I am very happy to hear that you had a relaxing and enjoyable time in Agnantia and in the whole area of Fiskardo. Every year we manage to update our knowledge for beautiful places and interesting things to do in Kefalonia. We are very glad that we can provide to our guests helpful information so that they can enjoy their holiday time relaxing with no worries for searching and planning.
Concerning the shower area, we are truly sorry to hear that was not suitable enough for you. Agnantia’s rooms are designed with the philosophy of being more spacious in the sleeping-living room area. Moreover, I would like to mention that shower’s curtains change at the check-in time of every guest and follow the same cleaning and sterilizing laundry system together with the rest clothing of the hotel.
I would like to ensure you that we have already upgraded our guest’s wish list with your mention in order to work on it.
It has been a great pleasure meeting you. We look forward to seeing you at Agnantia, again! Take care!

We had a perfect break at Agnantia. The hotel manager and owner, Mrs Sari was amazing with her tips and suggestions as well as her flexibility in terms of the reservation arrangements (another 2 couples were going to join us for the holiday but could not make it in the very last minute). Totally recommended.

Greece is beautiful, wherever you go you can discover magic.... however what made my stay unforgettable at Agnantia, it was not only the beautiful building, the tasty homemade breakfast, and the breathtaking view...it was the pleasant and warm smile of mrs Maira who is the owner of this place. She is so kind and ready to answer to anything you can ask. Thanks your Mrs Maira for your hospitality and for your nice and tasteful pies and jams. ;)
