The hotel its self is ok but never a 4star, its interesting the in the reception there is a plaque on the wall from Thompson Holidays rating it as a 3 star and i think that is very generous, the rooms were ok but just ok we had a family room but there was only air con in one of the rooms this meant that the whole family were left sleeping in one bedroom. The food was ok a bit repetitive and not much choice for small children, if you go all inclusive which we did dont expect and raport with the waiting staff they were on occasions very rude and had no time for the children which was very dissapointing.
NOW THE BEST BIT
what looks like a lazy river around the seating area is not, its a glorified water feature which you are not allowed in, and it has no railings around it to stop little ones falling in, the kiddies pool is no bigger that a hot tub and if there is more that three kids in it its full, the main pool is small and if your kids want to jump in it then you end up upsetting everyone sitting around, The beach is a ten minute walk down a very very steep hill, the beach its self is nice but you have to pay 4euros per day for the sun beds.
Getting back takes twenty minutes as the hill is that steep.
The entertainment is so poor its not worth talking about, and the kids club is nothing short of dangerous, as the girl supposed to be looking after the little ones spends more time on her phone that watching the kiddies. twice she left the gate open and my wife had to stop little children walking away.
The nearest town is 15euros away and there is not much there the main town is 20euros away and it is better but be pre pared to put your hand in your pocket. Keep away from the hotel shop as it is a real rip off, but you are so isolated that you have to use it, we paid 15euros for a bucket and spade. on the first day and when we went to the neatest town they were for sale there for 2euros.
Take some ones advise who has had a bad experience do not go to this hotel if you want a family holiday its not that sort of place, great if its just the two of you but not for kids.

after some of the reviews i read after i had booked i was quite worried about what to expect. what a stunning hotel this is the design with the man made canel and the whole structure has to be unique. yes there was a few rooms that did look over rough ground. also you have to get into a town to find any thing. apart from that i would reccomend this hotel to anyone. 1st class and the food was as good as the hotel.BRILLIANT.....

Never stayed same hotel till we found this one, brilliant staff is what makes this hotel along with the food and location.
We have traveled all over the world but have never experienced such a warm welcome as this louis hotel and will be back time and time again hopefully.

Do not be taken in by the photos on the webb site. We arrived at the hotel on the 9th of October for what we thought was going to be 10 days of 4 star luxury. What ajoke. The hotel is the worst we have ever stayed in , it is no more than a Pontins Holiday camp. It should never be rated as a 4 star holel at a push it is no more than a 2 star. The rooms are grubby with paper falling of the walls and we were told that they have a problem with condensation, that is why the rooms smell of damp and the small wardrode was mouldy. We had to change rooms three times. There are no tea or coffee making in the rooms and they charge 5 euros for two luke warm coffees in plastic cups. The food is mass produced slop all cold and covered with flies, lots of people went down with sickness during our 10 day stay. The indoor pool is no bigger than a splash pool and they have a pool table with one broken que. The hotel is situated on a steep hill and the management have put a wall and fencing all the way around it so that clients cannot get to the small bars and tavervas on the outskirts, lucky for us we found a whole in the wire netting so we were able to escape. As for the curtesy bus forget it. Please take my advise DO NOT go to this hotel. We have never been to a hotel before where people were spraying the seats in the bar before sitting on them for fear of getting bitten by bugs. Thank god the weather good and we were outside as much as possible. I so pleased to be home,
