I stayed at this hotel with my husband hoping for a late September week in the sun just relaxing and doing very little. Unfortunately the weather went against us and we had several days of rain! The hotel is in a very quiet spot and the furthest we ventured was a bus into Zante town which was as much as either of us wanted to do. The hotel provided a very comfortable retreat, the food was very acceptable and although we were on half board we did eat out at the local tavernas three out of the seven nights - especially recommend Galini restaurant about ten minutes walk away. The Gerakas beach is also about ten minutes away and definitely worth a visit. We had a lovely bright room, with our own balcony and the bathroom was of high standard for Greece although strangely the shower screen was on the wrong end of the bath so inevitable to soak the floor! We were one of only about two or three English couples, the rest being mostly German but this was not an issue as there is no entertainment at the hotel. The rooftop bar was closed and the poolside bar seemed to open at erratic hours but would anyway recommend popping up to the Perfeto taverna at the crossroads which is much cheaper! All in all we had a lovely week and no complaints of this hotel.
