My partner and i stayed here in May for 1 week. If you are looking for a place to party and go out on the town then this hotel and town is not for you. The hotel is located in Tsilivi which is a very quiet, relaxed place right next to a great beach with a small strip with a few bars and shops.
We visited here in the first week of the season so it was still very quiet. The hotel was good with lots of choice of food and drink (a different selection of food everyday) computers, small shop and an outdoor and indoor swimming pool (although it was absaloutly freezing!!) The hotel is 30 seconds from the sandy beach, the only let down is if you dont get out early enough to get a sunlounger you have to pay 3euro's to hire one for the whole day.
We went full board, the only let down with this was there was a lesser choice of food and drink available to us unless we paid silly money for it so it was better to buy snacks from the shop, i would reccomend you go all inclusive if you stay here.
The rooms are very clean, spacious and modern we had a lovely balcony which overlooked the pool and the housekeeping where very good, the only let down was the bed, we had two single beds next to each other with itchy blankets. The staff were polite and helpful. The evening entertainment in the hotel was not very good, pretty basic kareoke and little dj playing cheesy old tunes, if you want a mad night out then this is not the place for you i would reccommend Lagana which we visited and cost's around 20 euro for a taxi.
There is a great little hire shop about 5 mins walk from the hotel where you can hire quad bikes and buggy's my partner and i did this over 2 days and explored the whole of the island i would definatly reccomend it as the bikes were very cheap to hire!!

I thoroughly recommend the Zante Maris Hotel. Amazingly wonderful staff working at this hotel. Arrived home yesterday and feel so sad to be back in the UK. We were all inclusive and this was very good value for money. We met some really lovely people, other holiday makers staying at the Zante Maris and of course the very hard working, friendly and happy staff. I just want to get on a flight and go back right now!

We chose the Zante Maris hotel after spending hours reading up on all the reviews and must admit we picked the right hotel in the end! The majority of reviews are all positive and exactly as it was. Some people are never satisfied so dont be put off by any negatives. The location is perfect, right on the beach and you can walk either left or right along the sands for a stroll, the sea is like a warm bath (lots of people said that and its true!) and the waters are shallow, was a bit rough though on some days but maybe thats the time of year as it was our first visit to Zante and quite late in year too. The rooms are very good size and the best part is the coffee & tea making facilities which was refilled every day, we have been to many 4 * hotels and never got this before, so nice touch. All the staff are fantastic and work very hard, especially the room cleaners. If there was one thing I would change and its only my opinion, would be the music round the pool, everyday was a bit too much and too loud, although it did seem to be turned down after a couple of days so maybe someone else did complain. One thing about the resort, on the main strip, the restaurants pestered you every time you walked past, to come in and eat, we were half board so had already eaten! and next year Zante Maris is going all inclusive only which is a big disappointment and will be bad news for all the local businesses. All in all we made the right choice and I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Could not recommend this hotel highly enough! The rooms are a lovely size, with so much storage we didnt know what to do with ourselves. We had no complaints about the cleaning and the jacuzzi bathtub was a nice touch. We were really lucky to have a sea view room which was great.
We were on a half board option and the food was great throughout our stay. We had the option to change to lunch rather than dinner as many times as we wanted which meant we could make the most of the local restaurants.
The entertainment was good and Bella in the restaurant was fantastic.
The hotel opens out onto the beach and is also a few steps from local bars and restaurants who are all reasonably priced so even if we had been self catering we would have had plenty of options.
Would definately recommend this hotel and if we went back to Zante we would book here again.
