I have been visiting this hotel on and off for the last 7 years and it has always met the highest of standereds,my visit this time with my wife and inlaws was at the end of season.
We noted straight away that there were a lot less tourists staying at the hotel even for the time of year,we were later to discover that this was down to the all inclusive tariff which is coming into full force next year.
The rooms were lovley and the cleaning staff work hard and always great guests with a smile,in genral all the staff are freindly and treated my elderly inlaws with great respect and care.
George the chef still stands proudly over his food and is one of the main charcaters in the hotel, however we did somtimes find the food a little repetative.
Driton looks after the entertainment and guest care and he does this well but some of the guest found it a bit unfair when the entertainment program was cut due to the small amount of guests staying at the hotel,we had all payed full price and I thought we deserved a little better than one act a week and there is only so much bingo and quizes a person can take!!
The biggest blooper of the stay was when Zoe (Manager) decided to let all arriving guests to upgrade free of charge to all inclusive, this did not go down well with present half board guests who had to stand shoulder to shoulder at the bar paying full price for drinks with upgraded guests getting them for free!!!...not clever!!
Dispite a few minor issues I still consider this hotel one of the best on the island,Mr Christos the owner is a true gentleman we have come to know and respect and he has good reason to be proud of this lovley hotel.
