We stayed in a two bedroom apatment in August. The apartments are spacious, very clean and towels and sheets changed on a regular basis.Kitchen fairly basic, but everything you need. Pool lovely and clean and very quiet, had it to ourselves sometimes.There is a bbq on site that you can use, but food so cheap didn't seem worth the hassle. But the best thing about these apartments is the view. The two bedroomed apartments are on the first floor with a large terrace overlooking Lourdas beach and Zante beyond. They have electric awnings for when it is too hot. Spent many times just sat on the terrace admiring the views and watching the boats with a glass of wine. The local restauarants are all good, and value for money, with the local wine being very good and very cheap. There is a big supermarket about 15-20 mins by car, but Petros the local mini market had everthing we needed and not overly expensive. The apartments are very quiet and relaxing, don't go here if you are looking for some entertainment. However whilst we were there there were a few very well organised beach parties,that went on to the early hours. But for the most part a quiet resort. I would say that the beach is not really walking distance. There is a dirt track leading from the villas to the beach. Very steep! We tried it once during the day, it nearly killed us, and once at night, after the beach party. Whilst cooler its very dark, so again not great. Definately need a car if you want to go anywhere. We also hired a motor boat for a day from the local beach. About 80 euro, but money well spent. Had the boat all day, saw some turtles and found some deserted beaches. Fantastic. All in all would definately recommend to families who want a quiet holiday and couples looking for relaxation, but if you want anything resembling package holiday entertainment then this isnt for you.
