The best thing about the hotel is food, it is really one of the best food i ve eaten in hotels. The hotel serves full board, location is by the beach, rooms are spacious. Turunc has blue flag showing that the sea is very clean but beach is not sandy.

i have been staying at mavi deniz 3 years in a row. i mostly travel on a budget and look for cleanliness and safety in an accomodation. i do not need a sat tv or phone in the room or varied food at the hotel restaurant (i mostly prefer to eat out). mavi deniz is a clean and new property with big 2-3 people rooms, family rooms and clean food. they are working on a full accomodation basis, offering snacks&tea at 5 pm. the meals are served on an "open buffet", but not a big one. mostly traditional turkish cuisine, with snack-like dishes. the pool is small and is empty most of the time. the beach is pepples beach and really narrow, allowing only 2-3 rows of sunbeds. if sunbeds are not needed, there is a 50 meters of beach without any hotel behind it, next to mavi deniz and it can be used easily. customers are mostly turkish families with kids and elderly european couples. the hotel management is open to negotiations and can offer discounts if lunch and 5 pm tea are not needed. above all, all the waiters, busboys and other employees inc. the management(father&son) are polite and warm hearted.
