After a recent stay @ River's Edge I can highly recommend staying here. The small cabin was comfortable & nicely appointed with everything needed in the kitchen. Brenda has a very informative & useful 'book' with articles about places to see & do while in the vicinity, plus interesting articles about local pioneers & people who originally homesteaded in the area...plus pictures of their animals..2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses & a donkey & the chickens! They have a huge DVD library! I requested a large 'farm breakfast' one morning (which meant fresh eggs!) & a light breakfast another. Both were outstanding with an emphasis on wholesome yet tasty meals. Since their place is off the road it is very peaceful. One should be aware that there is no sign for Kleena Kleene (which I was looking for) & I drove right past the "River's Edge' sign...so be on the lookout for a "B&B" sign shortly before the River's Edge sign. Also, William's Lake is the last large outpost (3 hours) before Kleena Kleene & you should buy your food for dinner & lunch there. Brenda can inform you of the cheap places to get gas as everything in the area is pretty pricey. Don't forget your mosquito repellant! Also, the property is dog friendly...I had mine with me.
