When i was travel to kolhapur i stay in hotel shalini palace its good looking hotel nice staff i m very happy to stay there

It's a very quiet hotel in-spite of being close to Rankala lake. A very good palace converted into a hotel. Surrounded by a very good garden. The rooms are spacious and clean. Most of them have a huge balcony that opens on the lake side.
The restaurant they have serves a very good Kolhapuri as well as usual indian and Chinese food. You must have their Kolhapuri dishes. It is priced very reasonably. The staff here was very helpful. A very nice and cozy place to relax.
It is also very close form the Mahalaxmi temple.
You can just walk to the Rankala chowpaty and do boating or have bhelpuri and other snacks.
Really enjoyed every day of my stay here.

This is average hotel. Outer view is very good but ineer is very bad.Rooms are spacious but furniture is very ordinary. Interior of room is also not good. Toilets are very ordinary. Room service and house keeping is very poor.Quality of food is very average. People working in hotel are not well convergant and understanding.I will not recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel during a wedding. The rooms are large, the view from the hotel is also good. The lake near the hotel is also good for a walk in the evening.
