Staff - Courteous and Friendly
Right from the person who picked us up at the bus stand, to the meal stewards, lifeguards and jet ski drivers, all of them were very friendly and helpful to all of us. We were in a large group of 12 adults and 6 kids.
Food - Vegetarian and tasty
The resort provides vegetarian food and does not serve alcohol. The meals were really wholesome and good. Typical Darshini fare with a fair bit of variety!
Adventure Sports
Jet skis (paid - Rs.750 per trip) and kayaking (complimentary) is available. The ladies in the group had the best time on the jet skis and the guys had a go at kayaking in the waters.
Beach - Excellent and Clean
The beach being a private beach is really clean and a wonderful place to spend time especially in the early morning and evening hours. the beach closes at 8pm for safety reasons.
Rooms - The rooms were well done and were beach front facing with bathrooms which had a rustic feel to it. They were clean which was essential as my son is very picky about those things. There are no TVs which is a plus as most of the time is spent outdoors as it should be at such a resort.
Entertainment - Bonfire in the evenings, children's activities (coloring, painting, making kites), pool table (complimentary), scope for renting movie watching equipment. We watched Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara at night with friends and it was an unforgettable experience. As a group were meeting up after a very long time.
Animal lovers will like the two dogs (Bujo and Fudge) which are in the resort :-)
Feb is a good month to go as the sun is not burning hot and the days are really pleasant and the nights not too cold.
