We stayed in Motueka for 2 nights, to enjoy the Abel Tasman National park and its various activities including kayaking with the seals and going for some stunning walks in the beautiful park area.
Location: Nautilus Lodge is a mere 10-15 minute drive away from Kaiteriteri Beach, which gives you access to the water taxi and allows you access to some of the National Park's best sights. Also Motueka has a supermarket (Countdown?), plus lots of shops close by, very handy if you are self-catering.
Parking: Just outside your accommodation and is free.
Room: large, comfortable and lots of facilities to make cooking a meal very straightforward. The balcony tops it off nicely.
Reception: Helpful and friendly staff. We were given lots of advice on what to do in the area, plus we were able to leave our luggage with them on the final day.
There is also a washing machine on site, which proved useful after a long stretch without laundry. Sachets were available from reception.
Overall, a good stay and I'd recommend staying here if in Motueka.
